Shattered Mirrors (Pokemon Fan-Fic)

Chapter 3

My name is Sara, i am a young pokemon trainer and a student who has almost fnished school. In fact, I could leave school and not suffer any penalties. I only go for the pokemon training classes. I own a Growlithe(named SunFire), a Cyndaquil(Flare), an Absol(Gaze), a Luxio(Sparx), a Noibat and a Togekiss.

Thankfully, one more friday and it will be christmas break. "Lux!" A muzzle poked my side. The pokemon growled her name a few times impatiently before i finaly got up. Saturday morning, being waken up by an electric type. I yawned loudly as i put on my clothes for the day. My other pokemon greeted me happily once i entered the kitchen. My father was probably still asleep and my mother was making breakfast, her Delcaty curled on on a chair.

"Eggs or cereal?" She asked me as i came near her. "Cereal will do" I replied. I sat on one of the chairs and took out my ipod, that somehow ended up on Noibat's head. I went in one of the apps to chat with friends. The only one currently online was Ashley.

She must've noticed I was online as well, because not five seconds after, a text poped up.

"Sara! I need your help"

"What is it?" I reply

"Can you name me all the evolutionary stones?"

"Waterstone, Thunderstone, Firestone, Leafstone... uh"

"Sun and Moon"

"Yeah, Shiny, Dawn and Dusk"

"I think that's it... Is there any stone that is Transparent black that has gold in it and also glows red?"

"Uh..."

"Nvm" "g2g cya"

She suddenly goes offline. She never goes offline that fast or ask me crazy questions. A transparent black stone, doesn't ring a bell at all... Perhaps she's just playing with me.

I shrug and eat my cereal. I was only halfway done when my ipod makes a noise. I pick it up and read.

"Sorry, Nincada had fallen in the fish tank with feebas."

"Again?"

"Yeah, she rarely learns"

"What's up with the stone you described"

"It's nothing, i found an image on the Internet, it was probably photoshopped. Voice call?"

"Sure"

I tap a few buttons on the screen and i hear Ashley's voice.

"Can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear Ashy"

"Don't call me that. I was wondering if you guys want to make a sleep over at my house?"

"By guys you mean me and who?"

"Who do you think?"

"Snorlax"

"Totally, i already asked Jonathan, he said he would come"

"I am not sleeping in that creepy mirror basement again"

"Of course not silly. You two get the guest rooms"

"GOOD that basement freaked me out"

"Why?"

"Always having that feeling of being watched"

"Remind me to make you sleep there next time we watch a horror movie"

"AH HELL NAH"

"So your coming or not?"

"Of course im coming Magicarp brained"

"Ok, I just have to... HOLLY SHIT"

The sound of her ipod hitting the floor was heard. Imeadiatly i became concerned.

"Ashley? What's wrong"

"I...I just saw something"

"Did a pokemon use confuse ray on you?"

"This is legit Sara, there was something IN the mirror"

"Might of been Drake or Firefly"

"Yeah... Your right, FireFly is right behind me, anyways, talk to you later"

"K bye"

I finish my cereal and put on my winter jacket and boots to go outside, there really isn't much else to do at my house anyways. Its cold, but I've seen worst.

Near the town there's a slow flowing river that starts with a waterfall coming from inside a hill. It's a spring I think. During all seasons, pokemon gather here. There isn't a lot of pokemon in our area, mainly Sawsbuck, Deerling, Fletchling, Shinx and Pidgey. The more uncommon ones are Fletchinder, Vulpix and Growlithe, the last two only appearing in summer. The rare ones are Gible, Scyter and sometimes, even fossil pokemon.

We used to have a "Jurassic Park" Kind of thing in the center of the region, but someone, or something,destroyed the facility. Now we have wild fossil pokemon, but they are still rare. 

I jumped down the small hill before the spring. A herd of Sawsbuck and Deerling peacefully drank the water. A few ignored me entirely, a few other were cautious and decided to stay where they were or back away. The rest, which was about 3, where curious, but only one actually approached me.

The Sawsbuck was probably a young one, his horns weren't as big as some others. I took out an Oran berry from my bag and handed it to him. He seemed cautious at first, but still took the berry. As soon as he was done he poked me whit his snout, making me giggle.

"You want another one?" I asked, taking out another Oran berry. This time he ate it right from my hand and let me pet his white winter fur. I took out my ipod to check the time; 10:20am. Damn, I wanted to be at the day care at 30, its a 15 minutes walk from here.

I scratched the Sawsbuck behind his ear. "I have to go now" I said, leaving some of my oran berries on the ground before climbing back the hill. Sometimes I wish I had snow shoes. I took out SunFire and Gaze out of their pokeballs. SunFire jumped happily, she always does now that I think of it.

15 minutes later, we finally make it to the Daycare, and I was surprised I didn't have any frostbite. I knew Ashley was here, why? As soon as I entered the house, Zodiac came floating at me. "Lampent!" He said playfully, spinning upside down. Ashley came into the room a few seconds later. "Nice of you to crash in" She grinned. "I told you I was coming" I replied, removing my jacket. Ashley shrugged. "I don't recall"

"You do realize the sleepover is only like at 5pm?" She asks me.

"Yeah, but I was bored, so I came six hours earlier"

"It's at my house, not my mother's"

"I know, I just knew you would be here."

Ashley grinned. Then told me to put my jacket back on, we where going to her house.
