When he takes care of you when you're sick

Yoosung X Reader

“I’m sorry you have to drive me home…”

Your voice scratches on your throat and you sit on his car, hugging your knees and doing everything that could stop you from falling asleep. You came to school earlier feeling fine and healthy but you’ve somehow managed to get something from God knows where that made you suddenly sick. And now, you have a burning fever and the medicine you drank five minutes ago still hasn’t had any effect on you yet. Normally, Yoosung would talk you into going to a drive-thru or playing that classic ‘ LOLOL’ game but now he’s letting you fall asleep and you somehow got into a light one before the car pulled over in front of your house.

“ Oppa?” Your voice is groggy and talking is even more painful.

He looks at you and you watch him unbuckle his seatbelt. You don’t want to leave just yet – it’s either you’ve gotten too comfortable in his car or you could hardly get up from your headache. No, it’s about having to be with Yoosung.

You hate to spend the day alone especially when you’re sick. You look at Yoosung and turn your back against him. You know that when you get in the house he’ll be leaving as soon as possible as you decide to just stay in the car so he’d really have no choice at all.

Selfish, yes, but you can’t really blame a sick person for thinking like this, now can’t you?

“We need to go.” He tells you. His hand reaches for your seatbelt and as soon as you feel his hand grazing on yours, you take the chance to hold his fingers. And with this, you turn around and face him.

I don’t want you to go.

He looks at you as if he knows you well enough that he doesn’t need words to know to know what you’re trying to say. He feels them, like sixth sense. Yoosung lets you hold on his fingers and you squeeze it tightly.

Stay.

He sighs and smiles lightly. “Just so you know, I don’t intend on leaving just yet. Oppa will take care of you until you get better so I’m staying, okay? So don’t worry.”

With this, you turn slowly to your seatbelt and unbuckle it. He watches you struggle for a while before helping you out. You look at him and smile.

“You’ll really stay, right?”

“ Yes, yes, Jagi, as long as you like.”
