I was in the cortex working, when I heard Barry come in. I noticed that he was talking to someone, but I just assumed that it was Cisco. When he came into the room Iris was with him...holding hands. I felt a pit in my stomach, but I just pushed my feelings aside, and said hi. Barry came over, wearing a red flannel, some jeans, and converse. I think he noticed I was checking him out because, once I looked back up, both him and Iris were staring t me with a puzzled face.  quickly put my head down, and started to blush like crazy. "Heyy Cait." I looked up and smiled, trying to keep my answers short. "Hey Barry, Iris." Iris just looked at me and smiled. Then she looked at Barry and gave him a long kiss, knowing I was there. "Hey babe I have to go, but I'll call you later." With that note she just walked out with Barry looking back at her. I looked up at Barry and I felt hurt. He noticed me looking again, and just sighed. "Hey Cait, what's wrong?" "Nothing just um work stuff." "I doubt that, but show me what you got." "What do you mean?" "Show me this work stuff." "It's nothing don't worry about, but what you can do is go to that room over there so I can run some tests." "Fine, but I'm not taking off my shirt, no matter how much you ask for it." He chuckled at me blushing. I walked over to where he was sitting. "For the record, I only ask you to take off your shirt when you get hurt on the torso area, if you get shot,  stabbed with needles or..." By that point I was rambling and mumbling. I noticed him just looking at me and smiling. "What?" "You're cute when you ramble." He was different today, happy. I was about to tell him something, but Cisco walked into the room. "What are you guys talking about?" I beat Barry to the question and said," Nothing, I was just getting ready to take more tests." "For what?" "Well, I wanted to keep this a secret for tonight... but I am so close to improving some alcohol to make Barry drunk for a whole night!" Barry looked at me, and he looked really happy. "Cait, that is amazing! I can't wait for tonight!" "How about we all go down to a bar maybe sing some karaoke, and just have fun!" Cisco hadn't said a word and was just looking down at his phone, then looked up and said," i just looked at all the bars and picked the perfect one, how about the North-Side Dive Bar?" We both said perfect at the same time. 

The day started out fine, and I ran some tests on Barry. Once we finished the rest of the day was pretty quiet and Savitar was still AWOL.  Barry was turning quite obsessive and tonight would be one of the first nights that he went out in a long time. Iris was going with us too, and Wally wasn't  'cause Joe didn't want him to. I left around 5 and Barry stayed with me all day since he had to quit his job. It has been like that since what I did to Julian. I have been so careful with the cuffs and used to it that sometimes I even forget that they are on, but then I sometimes find Barry looking at them, he thinks I don't notice the way he looks at me, like I am going to break any second. I hope that tonight I can make him see me like he did, like the girl he took out to the bar to have some fun, and sang karaoke with. It seems that so much have changed, and it has, now my husband is dead and the one guy I always leaned onto is so focused on Iris that he forgets that I am here, and afraid.

I decided to get that off my mind and watch a movie until 7 and then i'd get changed. We were planning to meet up at the bar at 8:30. Once my movie was over I headed towards my closet and got a tight red dress, that hugged all the right curves. My makeup was not heavy but natural, with a red lipstick. I left my hair wavy and put a bobby pin at the side. I put some black 6 inch heels and I was satisfied with my look. I went outside and it was cold, so I brought my coat, just to seem normal, but the cold never bothered me anyway. I put some perfume on, the one that Barry always complimented me on. I know it was wrong that I still was flirting with Barry, but it also felt so right, so natural.
