Snowbarry- We are quite the pair

Boom boom boom.
My heart was racing. I walked into S.T.A.R Labs and saw Barry. Boom boom boom boom. My heart getting faster and faster. I breathed in and out. I sae Barry getting closer and closer to me. Until he finally arrived right in front of me. "Can we talk?" My heart raced. What did he want to talk about? The almost kiss? Us? Was there even an us? "Sure." He held out his hand. I didn't accept it and I saw that he was hurt. We walked into wells old evil lab sort of place. When the door closed Barry got closer. I backed up. "Barry what's going on?" "Cait, I I'm proposed to Iris." I lost my voice. But why did I care I just went on a date with Julian. But still I felt my heart heavy and I couldn't say anything. My throat became dry. "Con-congrats." I whispered it softly. He looked at me with his eyes heavy. "Cait. I do care for you." "Yeah..." I put my head down and I felt him grab my cheek. I looked up at him and we were so close. "Barry you're engaged." He whispered something that I couldn't here. He kissed me on the cheek and let go. He said one more thing to me and I stayed in there for the next 10 mins after he left.

I finally had the courage to walk out. I came into the cortex and saw Barry hugging Iris. Joe was here with wally, Cisco was here naturally, and Julian was here. Iris was smiling and so was Barry. They looked at each other and said, "we are engaged!" I smiled with everyone and hugged Iris. "Congratulations!" She smiled but and said thank you. I went up to Barry and hugged him. I whispered in his ear. "Congrats Barry, you deserve to be happy." He frowned a bit and said, "so do you." I smiled a bit and walked away, while they were rejoicing. Julian followed me and came up to me. "Caitlyn what's wrong?" " Nothing I'm fine." "Okay but whatever you need I am here." I smiled and said, "I know." Even though I was "with" julian I was still thinking about Barry. I loved Barry and it hurt too much. I walked off again and began doing my work. I went on the computer and checked barry's speed to see if there was any way he could stop Savitar. Nothing. My head was hurting too much so I took 2 ibuprofen pills and decided to go home. I went home around 4. When I got to my apartment, I decided to get comfy and put on a tank top and put some sweats on. I cooked and clean and finally sat down to watch Alladin. The movie was about 1/4 into the move when I heard a knock at the door. I got up slowly and put pause. I went up to the door and opened it. It was Cisco. "How come you left?" I let him come in and said, "Hi to you too Cisco. And my head hurt so I decided I needed a break." "Sorry hi, and okay. What are you watching." I smiled and said, "Alladin." He smiled and went over to my freezer. He grabbed the ice cream and said, "Gold I like that movie. But after this we are watching all the Harry Potter movies." I laughed and agreed. We sat down and talked all night. I missed hanging out with Cisco. We laughed and cried and it was great. He was truly my best friend. He stayed the night and we both ended up sleeping on the couch. I woke up and checked the time it was 10. Crap. I woke Cisco up and told him we were late to work. He got up and we ate breakfast together. Then he left and I got ready. When I finally arrived at S.T.A.R Labs it was 12 and Cisco arrived at 1. I got there and no one was there. Barry and Julian were bi th at work. Cisco was late and Harry was messing around doing his book. When Cisco arrived I asked him what took him so long. "When I went home, i fell asleep again." I looked at him and laughed. Of course he did.

Barry came into S.T.A.R Labs at 2. He walked over to me and also asked me why I went home early yesterday. " my head hurt." He nodded at me and looked down at my necklace. " I am not turning into killer frost my head just hurt. He frowned at me and walked with Cisco. I felt bored so I went and saw what the guys were up to. Barry was running and Cisco was eating a redvine seeing him run and encouraging him. Barry stopped when he saw me. He came up to me and grabbed me. He started running with me in his arms and just in a flash I was back where I was first when I came in. I ran to the trash can and threw up. I yelled. "Barry!" He ran up and held my hair up running my back while I threw up. "Sorry Cait." I nodded accepting his apology and continued to throw up. After I was finally done I went and brushed my teeth a hundred times. Cisco saw the whole thing and was kind in the background awkwardly. I came back in the room and Cisco wasn't in the room anymore. He went back in the cortex to check Barry's progress.  "Great, I threw up all my good and now im hungry." Barry smiled and came up to me. "Then that means someone should take you out to eat." "You're right. I should ask Julian." He looked annoyed and said, " or I could take you. I'm pretty hungry myself." I smiled big and my heart fluttered. But I remembered not a date just two friends getting food. "Okay where to?" "You'll see." Barry got ready and we headed out to the mystery place. We took a car that Barry has but doesn't use due to his speed. The whole car ride, he was singing and I smiled at him looked admiringly at him. He'd always laugh when he caught me looking and then blushing. When we arrived to the place where we were going to eat. I was shocked. It was a really nice place called Jet and Nora' s. I told Barry that I didn't need a fancy restaurant, and we could go eat at big belly burger. He looked at me, " Cait you deserve the best, which is what I am trying to give you." "You are with Iris Barry." " I remember. This is just 2 friends getting a nice meal." He looked  at me and raced to my door and opened it for me. He held his hand out. I looked at his hand. And I took it.
