I walked into Cami's place expecting her and the twins to be in the living room but they weren't. I heard laughing down the hall and followed it til I got to the twins room. Ava was sitting on her bed laughing while Cami was in the floor wrestling with AJ to put his shoes on.
"Put your boots on man!"
She tickled him to the floor and grabbed his foot, getting one boot on.
"Okay, okay. I'm only gonna wear one boot!"
"No, you need to put the other one on too silly."
"Yeah, you can't play in the snow with one boot."
They all looked up and smiled when they saw me standing in the doorway.
"Daddy!" Ava jumped up and ran over to give me a hug. "AJ is being so silly!"
"I can see that." I sat in the floor next to Cami and him. "Why won't you put your other boot on?"
" 'Cause I don't like them."
"Aaw I like them. They kind of look like mine."
He looked at his boots, then mine, then back at his.
"They do!" He smiled and took the other boot from Cami and put it on himself. "Now we match."
We all stood up and Cami helped him put on his coat before I asked them if they were all ready.
"Yeah, let's go!"
They ran out to the living room and Cami and I followed behind them.
We walked outside and I opened the door for the twins to get in.
"Abel who's that?"
Cami motioned to the car that was parked behind mine.
"It's just Freddy and Lamar. Do you mind if they come with us?"
She smiled. "Not at all."
After buckling the twins in, her and I got in and pulled off with Freddy and Lamar following behind us.
It was less than a ten minute drive to Central Park and the whole time the twins were telling me how happy they were that it snowed and how they really wanted to build a snow man.
Surprisingly there weren't as many people there as I thought there would be, so I decided to let my guard down after a few minutes. My coat was zipped up to my damn nose so I unzipped it a little bit so more of my face was visible.

"Look who's coming out their shell." Cami laughed and kissed my cheek. "I thought you were gonna hide the whole time. "
"There's not that m-shit!"
I was smacked in the back of the head with a big ass snowball and when I turned around I saw Lamar holding another one, ready to go.
"Snowball fight!" He yelled and threw the one in his hand straight at my face but I dodged it.
