Akito nodded, "That's our little cousin alright," "How were you able to tell by that?" Fuyumi asked looking to her older brother, Akito smirked shrugging loosely, "Only our dear baby cousin would show such hesitation on that question, the two things he adores," all the Ootori children nodded, understanding. Kouichi pouted, "That was mean, big cousin!" he instinctively held on tighter to Kyoya.
Akito chuckled, "I almost forgot how adorable he was when he was that little," "Hey!!! I am not adowable!!! I'm big and stwong!!" this made all three of his oldest cousins laugh slightly, "Aww, whatever you say," Fuyumi said with with a little smile. The loud commotion caught the head of the Ootori Family, their father, Yoshio.
"What is going on in here?" he growled out eyeing his four children, his eyes stopped on Kouichi, "Kyoya who is that child you're holding, what is the meaning of this?" "Father, I can explain, you see-" "You dare bring someone in without my permission, what will you even gain from this?" "Father, if you will just listen to me-" And why something so young, that only means they will get in the way and get loud and annoying!"
Kouichi growled, "Shut youw usewess twap, Uncie!!! Don't you dawe say another wowd!" he shouted. Yoshio was taken back at first, but that was quickly replaced with anger as he walked up to Kyoya and Kouichi just about ready to slap some sense into them both. "How dare you talk that way to me you ignorant brat, do you know who I am??" Kouichi narrowed his eyes just like his mother, "Stwaight up I do, you'we my uncie who is unweasonable, unfaiw, and mean. Fuwthew mowe, if you don't stop, Uncie, I will tell my mama, and you know good and well that she'd knock you on youw weaw end," Yoshio paused, all his life he'd only known two people brave enough to threaten him, his older sister and his nephew, he sighed, "How is this even possible," he grumbled, Kyoya sighed.
"We unfortunately have no clue," "Why did you even bring him here, we don't need him here," "Because, you know just as well as I that aunt will personally knock someone out if something happened to Kouichi and I doubt any of us want that."
"It would be a nasty court case," the father mumbled and sighed, "Fine, so he stays here, what are we supposed to tell his mother?" "That, I have handled, I'll simply tell her that he wants to stay over a few nights to work on a school project,"  Yoshio nodded as he turned going to walk to his office, "That's fine then, however, he is your responsibility, Kyoya. Don't let him mess anything up," Kyoya covered Kouichi's mouth so he wouldn't be able to make a snide comment and nodded, "You have my word, father," all the children watched the father nod and walk to his office.
With a sigh of relief he uncovered his younger cousin's mouth, he then looked down to the boy glaring, "Kouichi, you can not get such a bold streak in this form, do you realize he could've hurt you?" "But he wouldn't nave, Kyooooyaaa, besides I've thweated him befowe," "He would've if he hadn't realized it was you and never to that extreme. For as long as you're like this you have got to listen to me," Kouichi growled, "Why?? You'we no bosst to me, you'we just my oldew cousin, thats how it's laways been!!" "I am not going to argue with a four year old. You are to obey me and that's final."
Kouichi huffed, Fuyumi frowned and came over to the two boys, "Here, I'll take Kouichi for a little while, Kyoya, you've had him all day," Kyoya willingly handed the toddler over still glaring which Kouichi gladly returned, Fuyumi sighed, "Hey Kouichi, I bet I know what you want to do," she smiled heading to the stairs of the mansion and up them to a room full of video games as well as a few gaming systems. They had been set aside years ago for days Yoshio had to watch his nephew that he had no clue what to do with, not that the room was used often due to Kouichi having more of a fascination with Kyoya.
Kouichi gasped squealing with pure delight, Fuyumi set the tot down and sat in one of the chairs as he picked a game out. She only got back up to help him put it in the gaming system from there Kouichi was completely distracted, he had officially blocked out the rest of the outside world. Kyoya sighed standing in the door way, "I already told him he couldn't play those types of games, Fuyumi," he sat in a seat next to his sister, she smiled, "Oh Kyoya, lighten up! Look at him, he's happy, he's quiet, he's behaving," "Yes and he's also killing brain cells," the youngest Ootori muttered. She playfully rolled her eyes, gently nudging her baby brother, "You stress out over the smallest of things, you need to relax."
Kyoya sighed rubbing his forehead, "I can't relax, I have to be the perfect son, if I ever want to achieve anything," Fuyumi frowned and sighed laying her head on Kyoya's shoulder, "Kyoya, nobody's perfect," "Well then I at least have to act like I am," the sister shook her head, "You know, I've watched you and Kouichi grow up and I find it amazing how different you two are, it's as if you two aren't even related."
Kyoya raised a brow leaning back, "What do you mean by that?" "Well just look at you two. You are strict, serious, manipulative, hard working, an over achiever, and you set unrealistic goals for yourself. Kouichi is bubbly, carefree, naive, gullible, loud, lives his life one second at a time, and really has no goals set out for himself," she explained giggling softly, "complete opposites. I guess it's true what they say about opposites attracting," Kyoya chuckled faintly and nodded, "Yeah, maybe so, Fuyumi."
A little while after a maid came up, "Master Kyoya, Mistress Fuyumi, dinner is waiting for you two and the young one downstairs," "Thank you we'll be down in a moment," Kyoya called as Fuyumi sat up stretching. The maid walked away, Fuyumi smiled and gently shook the gaming four year old, "Kouichi, c'mon dinner's done, don't you wanna eat?" Kouichi only hummed a "mmmmhmmm" in reply, Kyoya chuckled getting up and turning the gaming system off, "Come along, Kou-Kou, it's time to put your games away for now," "Nuh uh!! Noooooohoooo, tuwn it back on Kyoooooyaaa, pease, pease," the four year old begged with a whiney tone. Kyoya nodded Fuyumi on telling her that she could go on which she did, he then picked up the small black haired boy, "No, not tonight, because after dinner it's bath then into bed."
"B-but the gaaaaaame, Kyooooooyaa, the pwincess needs saving!" he pleaded reaching for the controller again as the older carried him off, "No, no more games for tonight," he repeated sternly, Kouichi groaned whinely laying his head on Kyoya's shoulder, "Its not faiw," "I'm your older cousin, I don't have to be fair."
Kyoya sat Kouichi in the chair next to his, he could practically feel his father's eyes on him and every little move he made waiting for some flaw or mistake to point out. "So, Kyoya, how was school?" Yoshio asked finally, Kyoya cleared his throat, "It was fine, loud and noisy thanks to someone," he glanced to his younger cousin who only giggled sweetly, "but that's not much different from every other day. How was your day, father?"
"Hectic, no thanks to you and my nephew but I suppose that's no different either," he said disgust dripping from his words. Kyoya glanced down to Kouichi giving him a warning glare not to say a word, however the small boy ignored it, "You didn't ask me how my day was Uncie!" he stated sweetly as he stirred the soup he had as dinner. Yoshio rolled his eyes, "How was your day, nephew?" Kouichi giggled and smiled joyfully, "Well it was going ok untiw you came in the room! That totawwy wuined it!" Kyoya tensed as his father glared, he quickly scooped the boy up and carried him upstairs to the bathroom.
"What is wrong with you?" the older hissed out sitting the toddler onto the floor as he turned the water on, "Nofing is wong with me! Uncie was being a meanie to you, what was I suposted to do?" "Keep your mouth shut like I told you to do earlier, I said it before and I'll say it again. I do not, under any circumstances, need your protection, Kouichi!"
Kouichi looked down angrily, "Yeah well... I.... I don't need youw hewp with anyfing!" "That's a lie and we both know it," Kyoya growled out quietly as he unbuttoned the boy's shirt, Kouichi immediately struggled trying to push his cousin's hands away, "Kyoooooyaa, I can do it!! Stooop!" he whined, Kyoya rolled his eyes having enough of his younger cousin's behavior, "Fine, whatever," Kyoya got up shaking his head, "I'll bring pajamas in here for you, after your bath I expect you to go into the guest room closest to mine and go to bed," he then left out the room before the tot could answer. Kouichi huffed climbing into he bathroom, it's then he saw all the high shelves, he whined trying to reach the soap and shampoo, Kyoya brought in the smallest set of pajamas he could find and set them on the counter. He couldn't help but smirk at his cousin seeing him struggle, "Need help, Kou-Kou?" "Yeeeeeees!" "I will only if you do something for me," "Whaaaaat?" the boy whined, "I want you to admit that you do need my help and that you'll listen to me for now on," Kouichi whined again, crossing his arms over his chest, "I pwomise to wisten to you, Kyooooyaa and I do need youw hewp," he groaned out poutily, Kyoya smirked giving Kouichi a bar of soap and bottle of shampoo and conditioner, "There you go, baby cousin," Kouichi huffed nodding, "Thank you big cousin," he said starting to clean himself, Kyoya then walks out. After Kouichi had washed his body an hair he got out, dried himself off and put the clothes left out for him on.  After he did as Kyoya told him going into the guest room closest to Kyoya's.
He smiled seeing Kyoya sitting on the edge of the bed, the toddler climbed up on it and got snuggly under the sheets, "There we are, good night, Kouichi," "Night night, big cousin," the child smiled sleepily and was asleep as Kyoya walked out of the room.
