Kyoya started to bounce the sobbing boy to cheer him up, Makio glared a Akihiro, "Just who do you think you are to make Kouichi cry like that? He's younger than you now!" she scolded, Akihiro snorted amused rolling his eyes, "Look, flower, I really could care less about that brat, he's getting what he rightfully deserves," he hissed out. "He doesn't deserve that!!" "After being straight up annoying to literally everyone, yeah, he does," "He isn't annoying!!!" "Yes he is!" "A-am I annowing Kyoooyaa?" the little one asked in a whimper prepared to break down all over again, Kyoya sighed smoothing his hair down, "Well, you're definitely not as annoying as Tamaki," "Mother!!! How could you say that??" Tamaki wailed. Kyoya rolled his eyes, "See what I mean?" Kouichi didn't seem convinced, making the older cousin sigh, "Yes, ok, you can be but that's your job as a younger cousin, to be annoying. Also, it's not always annoying, some of your little antics can be charming," regardless his bottom lip trembled, "Wow, you really are nothing but a little crybaby in this form, aren't you," Akihiro said noticing Kouichi wanting to cry, of course, the comment didn't help his case. He whimpered nestling into Kyoya's shoulder and cried, it was starting to give the Shadow King a headache.
He sighed, "Hikaru, Kaoru, would either of you like to hold him?" "I will," Kaoru offered holding his arms out, Kyoya willingly passed his cousin over making the younger cry louder. Both of the mischievous twins winced, "Its ok Kouichi," "F-fuwiu Itoko don't wanta me no mowe!!!!" "That's not the case, baby cousin," Kyoya called from his chair where he sat rubbing his temples, "your crying is just giving me a headache, I still want you."
He sniffled calming down and soon giggled, "Kyoooooyaaa," "Dude he literally went from screaming to giggling," Hikaru whispered to his twin brother, Kaoru nodded in agreement. Kouichi continued giggling holding his arm out to Kyoya, "Kyooooyaaa, Kyoooooooooyaa!!!" the older raven haired male sighed, "No, no, not right now. Stay with Kaoru for now, I'll hold you again later," he grumbled, Kouichi pouted. "Awwww Hikaru!! Look at his wittle pouty look!! It's so cute!" the younger twin exclaimed. Hikaru chuckled looking at the toddler his brother was holding, "Yeah, I guess so," this made Kouichi glare to the twins now.
"I'm not coote!!! I'm big and stwong!" he cried, the twins awwwed in unison. "Of course you are!" Koaru said with a mocking baby tone to it, "Its probably cause of the broccoli Kyoya had to feed you," Hikaru added. Kouichi's face ran bright red, "No!!! I-I laways big and stwong, laways!!" "Awwww!" Kouichi groaned, glaring at the twins, "Not awwww, I'm not coote!!!!!"
The toddler raged swinging his feet, "Is someone fussy?" "That's quite the tantrum, little guy, I think you need another nap," the twins both said, Kaoru bouncing him gently, "No, he doesn't need another nap, in fact that's the last thing he needs. If he has another nap now then he won't fall asleep tonight which will be a pain for me," Kyoya called from his seat.
"Yeah, you bullies!" Kouichi squeaked sticking his tongue out at the two. The twins rolled their eyes sticking the sippy cup into the toddlers mouth, "That doesn't mean we can't  make you shut your mouth," they said talking simultaneously, Kouichi glared but none the less drunk the grape juice. In a matter of a mere ten minutes he was only sucking in air. He hummed softly, confused and shook the childish cup pouting a little to find it empty. He whined loudly, "Empy, it's empy!!" he shouted in a little fit.
Since his headache finally eased off a little Kyoya took the pouting boy back, "Kouichi, it's not that big of a deal, we're about to go home anyways," the older explained making the younger pout, "Kyooooyaa, I don't wanta go home, Uncie Oot..Ootow....." he paused a moment trying to piece the letters together to say the last name.
Akihiro laughed, "He can't even say Ootori now? Isn't that like his favorite word?" "Well now I suppose it is with his teenage set of mind still intact, however when he was actually four he loved the word "Onamonatopia", he couldn't necessarily say it correctly but he adored it none the less," Kyoya commented, Akihiro snickered, "Go on Kouichi, say it, I'm curious now," Kouichi was hesitant at first until his cousin spoke up.
"Oh yes Kouichi, won't you? I'm not meaning for it to embarrass you just the way you said it at this age was oddly cute in its own way," Kouichi pouted but sighed, mumbling, "Onimatopinia," Akihiro stepped out of the host club snickering, Kouichi glared with tears brimming his eyes and pouted looking away from his older cousin.
Kyoya sighed, "Baby cousin, come on now, don't be like that, I found it cute," "Yeah and Akihiwo fund it punny," Kyoya sighed gathering his things, "I'm going to go out a bit early, straighten up the club room won't you all?" "Of course Kyoya!" Tamaki exclaimed waving enthusiastically, "Bye little Kouichi, I look forward to see you bright and early tomorrow!! Bye Kyoya!" Kouichi groaned as a few students looked strangely at the younger boy, "Kyooooooyaaa, do you gots to cawwy me? Peope awe stawing."
"Kouichi they'd stare no matter what, they're not use to seeing a little toddler in their school, however, if you truly want to walk on your own, I'll warn you now. You know your steps will be wobbly, I won't accept falling, and you're at least going to have to hold my hand," Kouichi puffed his cheeks out filling them with air before releasing it in a long, dramatic sigh.
"I wanta be fibeteen nagain, being fouw is not no fun," "Isn't any fun," Kyoya corrected, "you used a double negative, baby cousin," Kouichi rolled his eyes, "Mistew Pewfect," he complained earning a loose chuckle from Kyoya, "At least I'm not struggling to pronounce almost all the words in my sentences," he countered.
Kouichi looked to his cousin catching the very faint trace of a smirk, Kyoya was playing a game with him. It was one of the few that he and Kyoya would play when they were younger. It was actually constructed by Kyoya, it was their way to insult each other without getting into trouble because they'd only be spoken half-heartedly, "Well at lest I'm not laways finking about money," "I haven't had to embarrass myself today," "I'm not "two faced"...... whateber that means."
Kyoya snickered resisting to let out a full laugh while in public, he had to keep his perfect son and professional business man personas up, no matter who he was with and what they were doing. "Kouichi, being two faced means that you act one way to someone's face then behind their back you act differently," "Oh... then yeah, you'we kinda two faced," Kyoya rolled his eyes, the smirk becoming clearer as they climbed into the limo, "Well I'm not the one who needs everyone to do everything for me," Kouichi sat up right pausing the buckling, "Its not my fauwt, I didn't know I'd wake up as a fouw yeaw old, if I did I would've wawned you and twy to stop it," the older cousin snorted a bit in amusement and buckled his younger cousin in, "Oh I'm sure you would. Now I'm curious, how would you try and stop it?"
Kouichi paused, he hadn't thought that part out, "Uh..... I'd... I'd dwink awotta milk so I'd still be tall and wouldn't look like I was fouw!" Kyoya covered his mouth so his snickers wouldn't be as loud, "That is first of all that's really impossible, baby cousin, secondly even if it was able to be done, where would you get that much milk?" Kouichi gave his older cousin a dumbfounded look, "What do you meeeean? I'd onwy need one cup, big cousin," more snickers tried to escape from Kyoya, "Oh yes, yes, of course, my mistake, Kou-Kou."
Kyoya's smirk widened as Kouichi gasped and a twinkle of delight appeared in his eyes, "You called me Kou-Kou!! You haven't called me that since you wewe a fiwst yeaw in middle sool!!!" the older nodded, "Indeed, it seems a little more fitting to call you that for now," Kouichi squealed happily hugging his cousin.
Soon the Ootori mansion came into view and a problem suddenly occurred to the younger, "Kyooooyaa, what awe we gonna tell you'we family?" "Well I had two thoughts, we could either explain the situation to them or lie and say you're for a school project," Kouichi hummed quietly and shuttered at the thought of what might happen to his big cousin if the lie was discovered, he gulped softly putting aside his broken pride for now, "We can tell them the twuth, Kyooooyaa," the older raised a brow, he had been almost certain his younger cousin would pick the lie.
"Oh, well alright, baby cousin, it's your choice but any reason you want to do the truth? Not that there's anything wrong with the choice, I assure," Kouichi fiddled around with the buttons on the shirt, "Well..... I'm finking hypletically (hypothetically) hewe but..... if the wie was funded out you'd get huwt weal bad by Uncie," Kyoya nodded understanding, "I see, you're trying to protect me," the younger nodded shyly, "well then, I think I should tell you now, I don't need you're protection, while it's a sweet that you thought of me, I am the older cousin, I'm supposed to protect you," Kouichi looked up glaring a little, he took quite the offense to that, "Why? Is it cause I'm onwy fouw? I-I'll have you know big cuzzy th-that I'd take a hit te same way I would when I was fibeteen!"
Kyoya gave the black haired child a 'really' look, "Kouichi..... you know that isn't very assuring. If you were hit as a fifteen year old you'd cry to me," the Ootori stated. Kouichi pouted, Kyoya however ignored that and unbuckled him getting him out of the limo and carried him in, "I'm home," he called.
"Welcome home Kyoya," Fuyumi called smiling to her younger brother. "Uh Kyoya, who is that kid and why does he look an awful lot like our younger cousin?" Kyoya sighed at second oldest brother's question, "Well, because, Akito, it is Kouichi, something happened and now he's stuck like this," "Impossible," the oldest, Yuuichi, rang from where he was.
Kouichi glared, he never was too fond of his other two older cousins, "Kyoooyaa isn't wying, Yuuichi! I, on his behaf, will pwoove it in anyway," all the younger siblings looked to their oldest as he pondered, "Alright, what was that little poem you liked to sing to Kyoya?" Kouichi sighed, he should've just expected it to be something embarrassing, "Woses awe wed, violets awe blue, Kyooya, you'we the bestest no one couwd evew top you!"
"I don't think that was a good way to prove it, Yuuichi, anyone could've learned it," Akito commented, "if you want to prove it, pick one, video games or Kyoya," Kouichi whimpered it was a difficult choice, he even looked over to Kyoya for help, when Kyoya offered none he sighed taking in a gasp before answering, "Kyoooyaa......."
