"Kouichi," Fuyumi sing-songed shaking the tot gently. He whined rubbing his eyes, "What?" he mumbled, "If you want to go to school with Kyoya then you have to get up," the boy almost considered saying he didn't want to go until he realized that by not going he'd be stuck with Yoshio. It wasn't that he was scared of his uncle, Yoshio knew well enough to avoid certain things with his nephew to keep his older sister happy, it was merely the fact that his uncle was boring.
He poutily sat up rubbing his eyes to rid them of sleep. Fuyumi smiled softly, "Kyoya picked an outfit for you, I'm guessing it has something to do with the club he's in," she said before leaving the boy to his privacy. Kouichi sighed sliding out of the bed and strolled over to see what exactly his cousin had in mind. There was a baby blue long sleeved shirt with white trimming at the ends, white pants, black dress shoes, and next to it a fake little crown. Kouichi groaned realizing what the Host Club would be dressing as. He swapped the pajamas out for the outfit then walked out into the hall.
"Does it habe to be so looong?" he whined as he started towards the stairway. Slowly but surely the tired boy's legs made it downstairs and went to the door, "Hold on a moment, Kouichi," Kyoya called jotting down a few brief notes in his black book. Kouichi sighed tiredly and looked to his older cousin. Kyoya had a deep yet slightly dull purple shirt with somewhat puffy sleeves, black tight pants, black dress shoes, and he too was wearing a fake crown on top of his head, this amused the younger making him giggle delightedly. Kyoya arched a brow glancing to his cousin before shutting the book.
"And what do you find so funny, hmm?" "You and youw oufit!" he squeaked giggling more, Kyoya rolled his eyes, "You're one to talk, you're wearing an outfit too ya know," "Yeah, but I am a ittle pwince, you'we the Shada King!" Kyoya again rolled his eyes. Kouichi smiled opening the door to find it was raining, it was a pretty mild fall he smiled going to dash outside until his cousin grabbed his wrist, "Kouichi, you're going to need a jacket, hold on a moment," Kouichi grunted trying to free himself from his older cousin's harsh grasp, "Stoooooooop, let goooo! I don't need a jaet, it's not waining that hawd!" "But it's going to get harder Kouichi, so yes, you do need a jacket bow stop acting so ridiculously," Kyoya demeaned fighting to keep his cool, if one person could annoy him the most it'd be his younger cousin.
"Nooooooohoooooo! No jaet! No jaet!! No, no, no, no, noooooo!" he whined stomping his feet, Kyoya sighed releasing the younger, he was in no mood to deal with his cousin and his tantrums. "Fine, but don't whine to me when you're sick," he grumbled as he shrugged a jacket on himself. Kouichi stuck his tongue out, "I won't, cause I won't get sick," for the third time this morning Kyoya rolled his eyes, "Believe whatever you want to, Kou-Kou, now come on, I really don't want to be late unlike yesterday morning," Kouichi followed his older cousin the the black limo.
"You wewen't late, Kyooooyaa, you wewe awmost late," he corrected. "Yeah, Yeah, so clever, you actually paid attention to Tamaki's exact words, now I'm not kidding, get in," Kouichi groaned climbing in, Kyoya did the same next to his younger cousin, "Isn't someone gwumpy this mowning," he asked his voice tied between playful and pouty. Kyoya sighed rubbing his head, "Same as every morning, you'd think with how much time you spent near me you'd know that for sure by now," Kouichi giggled, "What can I say, I nevew leawn!" "Clearly," the older muttered closing his eyes, Kouichi smiled sweetly laying his head on his cousin's arm, "Kyoooooyaa," "What do you want?" the other breathed out, "Snuggwe."
Not caring enough, he wrapped his arm around his younger cousin, "Satisfied, little one?" "Yep!" "Good, now, don't talk the rest of the ride," Kouichi pouted but obeyed, he entertained himself by playing with Kyoya's shirt buttons. The school eventually came into view, Kouichi shook his cousin who had managed to fall back asleep.
"Kyooooooyaaaaaa, Kyoooooyahaaa!" "I thought... I told you not to talk the rest of the ride," Kyoya grumbled. "The wide's ovew!" he giggled as the limo pulled itself to a stop. Kyoya sighed removing his glasses to he could rub the tiredness from his eyes once he slid them back on he got out, "Lets get going then," Kouichi climbed out after his cousin Kyoya then quickly grabbed the toddler's hand, Kouichi groaned, "Nooooo, no I don't need you to howd my hand," "Too bad, I don't trust you to wander around on your own," he stated bluntly and led the struggling boy to the Host Club. "Good morning Kyoya!! Hello little Kouichi!" Tamaki called waving, "Uh Senpai, Kouichi isn't with Kyoya Senpai," Haruhi said, Kyoya sighed, "Where were you yesterday, Haruhi?" "I was sick and I didn't want anyone else to catch it."
Kyoya nodded far too tired to make any other comment, "Well, you missed yesterday's memo. Yes, my younger cousin is with me, due to some sort of magic thing he's stuck a.... bit younger than usual," Kyoya said a bit awkwardly, Haruhi nodded stiffly, "Oh, well, I guess I missed more than I thought, I wonder why some people didn't tell me beforehand," she said glaring to the twins who only shrugged, "We forgot," they said in unison.
Haruhi rolled her eyes doubting that, she then bent down to Kouichi smiling a bit, "Sorry about that, Kouichi," the small raven haired tot sighed nuzzling his cousin's leg, "Its ok Hawu..... you awen't the fiwst one," "Yes he almost got into a fight with my father," Kyoya said glaring down to the smaller boy, still irritated about the night before. The younger cousin smiled sheepishly, "We fixed that wast night though Kyoooooyaaa."
"We did, or at least we hope we did or else I might need to resort to punishments, which I'm trying to avoid," the older cousin said, his voice dying to a growl. The smile widened, "We did big cuzzy," he assured. Kyoya nodded satisfied going to his usual table. Kouichi pouted and looked around, it's then he sees a little crate full of toys, he sighed deeply, "Is that some sowt of jowke?" he grumbled.
Tamaki smiled and shook his head, "That is just for you, Little Kouichi, so that you won't get bored," Kouichi rolled his eyes grumbling on how this wasn't fair and that he wasn't actually a little kid but none the less made his way over to the crate just to see what the host club thought would entertain him. A sigh of relief left him to find it wasn't anything too embarrassing, there weren't any rattles, only one or two stuffed animals, mostly it were things on wheels mainly cars but there were a few stray army tanks or a submarines, he smirked hearing the ladies coming in, right about now revenge sounded pretty sweet, he grabbed an armful of cars then ran over to his cousin, losing a few toys along the way.
"Kyoooooooooyaaaaaaaa, Kyoooooyaaaa," he whined to get the older's attention, "What is it, little one?" Kyoya asked offering him a smile that was torn between sincere and fake, "Kyooyaaaaa pay wit me? Peeeeeaaase?" he asked sweetly adding in a little more lisp than he already had, Kyoya tensed at the offer but not enough for it to be caught by anyone, he paused thinking over this logically. If he accepted who knows what his younger cousin would make him do, if he said no Kouichi would more than likely pull his waterworks card which would make the Shadow King come off as the bad guy which normally wouldn't be a problem but the guests were here.
"Erm........ not right now, perhaps later. I'm busy right now," he explained motioning towards the ladies. Kouichi smirked inwardly but on the outside, on with with the tears and trembling bottom lip, "Y-you don't wuv m-me?" he whimpered out dropping the toys, Kyoya knew his cousin and his little tricks, "Don't even start with the waterworks," he warned but the child ignored it, he made sure he had almost all the girl's attention on him before sobbing, "T-TAMA-CHAN!!!!!!" he shouted past a cry. Kyoya at this point was extremely irritated as the blonde came towards the two.
"What seems to be the problem here?" he asked curiously crossing his arms. "Nothing, he's being a little brat, as always," the older growled out struggling with his temper, "F-Fuwiu Itoko Senpai don't wanta pay with me!!" he yelled with tears still running down his red cheeks, "He doesn't, hmm?" Tamaki asked concerned, "No, I jus ask him and he get mad at me, he hate me!!!" "Now I'm sure he doesn't hate you........ Kyoya why won't you play with him?" Kyoya gritted his teeth together, "Fine, whatever," he answered finally, "the little brat," he muttered before regaining his composer. A girl tapped his shoulder, he hummed looking to the girl, "Kyoya Senpai, why did your little brother call you Furiu Itoko Senpai when he's your younger brother?"
Kyoya smirked himself pushing his glasses up, "Well, we were going to keep this a secret, however, I think it's time we let the ladies know, don't you, Kouichi? After all it isn't good to lie," his smirk widened as realization came over the guests and Kouichi's mouth hung open in shock.
"Oh! So this is Kouichi!" "So this is why he hasn't been at school!" "He's so cute!" multiple girls gushed Kouichi pouted crossing his arms, "Kyooooyaaa, that was a secwet," Kyoya chuckled softly, might as well get the ladies even more rowed up, he picked the toddler up stroking back the child's hair, "I'm very sorry, Sukoshi Itoko, but I simply couldn't lie anymore, that's not setting a good example for your young, impressionable mind," the boy growled and swung his feet pushing his cousin away, "Noooooohooo! Doooown!! Tama, Tama, Tama!!!!!" he said having a small tantrum holding his arms out towards the Host Club King. Tamaki gladly whisked the raven boy away from his older cousin, "Have no fear, Little Kouichi!" Kouichi groaned hearing the ladies go even crazier seeing the king holding the toddler, he covered his face as it ran a deep red, "C-can you put me down, Tama...... like NOW?" he grumbled. Tamaki merely hugged the boy closer and tighter, "But why? What if you get hurt or step on broken glass?" "I'm not gonna get huwt!! And thewe's no bwoken glass!" he huffed annoyed, "You never know!!!"
Eventually the second round of guests came and no one paid much attention to him, he smiled watching the rain from the window. His eyes sparkled and twinkled with amazement. Finally he hopped down running to the door, "Kouichi, where are you going?" Kyoya asked looking to his cousin past a small crowd of girls, "The wain is so cool, Kyooooyaa, I wanta pay in it!" "No, you don't have a jacket," "Kyoooooyaa," he whined stomping his feet in a little hiss fit.
Kyoya sighed rolling his eyes, "Not only that, but I don't want you being outside..... alone," "Kyoooooooyaaaaahaaaa, I wanta pay in the wain!!!" Kyoya sighed, he wouldn't hear the end of it until he agreed. Unfortunately he saw no amusement in playing with water. He glanced to Haruhi, "Haruhi, would you mind going with him?" "Not at all, Kyoya Senpai," the secret female host walked outside with the toddler, bringing along an umbrella for herself, Kouichi squealed with delight. As soon as he made it outside he started jumping and hopping in the rain puddles just as he used to when he and Kyoya were still in Elementary school.
