"Kouichi, are you up?" Kyoya called opening the door, the boy was slidding on his shoes as a finishing touch. He smiled a little now that the child wasn't sick he had all intentions to make things up to him, "Look at you, just like a big boy, no one had to wake you up or anything," he praised halfheartedly, wasn't like a four year old mind could tell the difference, right? Kouichi rolled his eyes slipping off the bed and walked past his older cousin, "I'm not a baby, Kyoya," "I know, that's what I was saying. You're a very big boy for getting ready all on your own," the toddler whipped around glaring, "Well it's not ewactly ewemanatawy, I can do tuff like that and I don't need pwaise fow it," he snapped then continued on downstairs.
This didn't help Kyoya's already bad morning mood, "Well fine then, little brat," he grumbled going on down as well. It irritated him more to see him being all cuddly and loveable with Fuyumi. "Are you going to be a good boy today?" Fuyumi asked sweetly, Kouichi giggled nodding innocently as if he hadn't just gotten frustrated with Kyoya, "Yeah! I can't wait to see Tama!!!" he squealed joyfully making the female cousin laugh a little, "I'm sure Tamaki can't wait to see you either," he beamed happily hearing the limo pull up to the home. He gave her a final tight hug before dashing out yelling, "Bye bye Yumi!!!!!" as he did, "Bye," she called back before looking to Kyoya, "You better get going too, you don't want to be late," she offered him a kind smile before starting towards the kitchen.
Kyoya grabbed her wrist, "Fuyumi, wait, I have one question," "Yes?" she looked over to him from behind her shoulder, "What will make Kouichi stop being mad at me?" "Oh so you noticed," "Yes and I want to make him stop, how do I do it?" Fuyumi sighed, "Kyoya, you and Kouichi know each other better than anyone else does, you know his weaknesses and what he likes, I know if you just think about it, you'll figure out what will cheer him up," she offered a warm, gentle smile before gently easing herself away and going to the kitchen. Kyoya sighed going out to join his cousin.
Kouichi was talking with the limo driver, not seeming to care when his big cousin to slide in next to him. "Did you laways wanta dwibe limos?" the man laughed slightly as he started the vehicle, "Not really, I wanted to be an actor or a doctor, but this pays good money," "Whatcha need the monwey fow?" "My three daughters and son," "What's theiw nameses?" "Morgan, Martha, Michelle, and Walter," "Why does the boy's name stawt wif a W and not a M like his sisbers?" "My wife wanted our only son to be unique plus an uncle she was close to named Walter passed away while she was pregnant with our boy," Kouichi went to ask another question but Kyoya quickly stopped him, "Kouichi, please, don't annoy the limo driver, let him do his job," the child glared at his cousin, "Oh, I'm sowwy, am I being a bwatty little pain by asking quwestions?" he shot out annoyedly. Kyoya resisted the urge to roll his eyes, "I'm sure you are bothering him, yes, besides wouldn't you like to cuddle?" Kyoya saw temptation twinkle in the younger boy's brown eyes, "Mmmmnmmnn.... Yes," Kyoya smirked at what he believed to be a victory until Kouichi finished his sentence, "I wanta cuddwe wif Tama, Mistew limo dwibew, how much more fawthew til we awe at scool?" "Just a little further," Kouichi giggled gleefully squirming with excitement. Kyoya scowled at this.
They soon arrived, Kouichi waved with his free hand, "Bye limo dwibew, bye!!!!" the older cousin sighed tugging Kouichi along at a fairly reasonable pace, "Kouichi, come on," "Stooooooooooop!! You'we buwwying me!!!" he whined, "I am not bullying you, I'm telling you to hurry up and come on," the smaller boy pouted obeying and mumbled, "Tama wouldn't make me wush...." Kyoya sighed, "Well I'm not Tamaki, I'm your cousin, and I'm telling you to hurry," Kouichi pouted further until the doors of the Host club came into sight, he excitedly wiggled his hand free running inside, "TAMA!!!!!!!!" "Kouichi!!" Kyoya scolded running after him but he was already at Tamaki's legs nuzzling one, "Tama!! I missed my Tama!" Tamaki chuckled ruffling the boy's black hair, "I missed you too, Little Kouichi!" Kyoya sighed tiredly walking over to them, "That's sweet but come on Sukoshi Itoko, you need to come with me, let Tamaki host," this made Kouichi cling tighter, "Noooooo, Tama, Tama, don't let the gwumpy monstew get me pease, I wanta stay wif you!!" he begged. Tamaki frowned confused.
Normally the bubbly, bouncy boy was all for being with his older cousin over anyone else in the room. "Kouichi surly you want to be with Kyoya, right? He is your Furui Itoko Senpia after all," Kouichi puffed his cheeks out and shook his head, before looking to his cousin. Kyoya was pulling a card the younger usually always tried with him, the 'I'm-About-To-Cry' card. The only difference was that Kyoya never fell for it while Kouichi was a huge sucker for it. The Raven haired child sighed weighing his options before sighing and going over to his elder cousin nuzzling his leg as guilt swelled in his chest, "I'm sowwy Senpia, don't cwy, pease, I weally am sowwy, you just huwt my feelings, a lot."
Kyoya had dropped the act the moment the smaller boy had falleninto the trap's clutches, he gently put a hand on his head, "Well, I hope you learned your lesson about being cold with me, little cousin, the moral being, I always win," he replied half-heartedly. Kouichi sighed, there was the shadow king he couldn't ever resist, "I did, I did, I'm sowwy, nevew, nevew cwy, Kay?" Kyoya laughed quietly but nodded picking up the small boy, "Yeah, sure, I won't cry as long as you don't be rude to me," he agreed. Kouichi giggled beaming joyfully, wrapping his arms around his cousin's neck in a hug, "I pwomise, I pwomise I won't, nevew!" "Good," Kyoya said with a nod, "now that you agreed to that....... I need you to have no fits today," the child pouted, "No faiw, you twicked me!!" "Again, I'm your cousin, I don't have to be fair," Kouichi huffed turning his head away mumbling, "No fits, no, none, put me down I wanta go pay," Kyoya sighed but complied setting the boy down letting him playing with the cars in the corner next to the toy chest. All was fine until it was lunch time.
