chapter 5:help from the Schuylers

Two weeks later, I was getting letters from John. Some funny,some about his day but he mostly mentions me in them. Hes been really straightforward and passionate lately. As I'm going down the sidewalk smiling and reading his recent letter, a hand took it from me and smiled,"Ooooh I see someone has been getting letters too." I turned and I saw Angelica with Peggy and eliza. I blushed a little smiling", u-uhm yea. Hello Angelica,eliza,peggy." Peggy blinked and teared up and hugged me. I hugged her back and before I could ask if she was alright she spoke,"your the first to ever remember me. Im so thankful for an angel like you." Eliza squished my cheeks smiling,"right peggy. She's so adorable." I blinked and Angelica laughed joining in on the hug. It's official,the Schuyler sisters are my best friend's.

We walked down the sidewalk together smiling and laughing at Peggy's random jokes and shenanigans. I have never been the happiest. "Excuse me ladies. I could help but look you have a new one with you,"Aaron walked towards us smiling. I looked at him. I never seen him but I've seen how people explain him. He's indecisive and doesn't tell anyone his plans. I can't trust him basically. "Uuhg it's you what do you want burr,"Angelica snapped at him. Burr smiled warmly,"you look nice as ever today Schuyler sisters. Now who might you be." He looked at me and I looked at him,"oh um I'm a-!?" "None of your business burr,"Peggy stood infront of me protectively. Burr chuckled and walked off. Angelica whispered in my ear,"do not trust him okay. Hes up to something Terrible." Another voice whispered in my ear,"yea no good." I flinched and looked next to me,"Laurens!?" John smiled and ruffled my hair,"the one and only haha." The Schuyler sisters bunched up together whispering and John looked at me,"hey I'm having dinner at my place wanna come over?" I blushed pink and smiled nodding,"I would love to." He waved and walked off.p eggy and eliza took my hands and dragged me to their house with Angelica.

They sat me down on the couch and got out a bunch of stuff. I blinked,"whats going on?? What are we doing?" Peggy smiled and got a golden yellow dress with a white bow,"oooh she should wear this." Eliza smiled and got some shoes,"with these shoes."  The two girls squealed with delight and I sat there confused. Angelica lightly brushed my hair smiling,"we are getting you ready for your date." I blushed red and flustered,"what!? I-i mean I don't think I can c-count it as a date.........right?" Angelica giggled and braided a strand of my hair,"your a special one."

I walked up to Laurens doorstep nervously. "Oh goodness. Am i good enough,"I questioned myself looking at myself. I took a deep breath and knocked on his door slowly. I waited a bit and there was no answer. I blinked and I was about to knock again until the door opened showing Laurens smiling and dressed nicely. "I knew you would come. Come on in,"he walked back into the house as I followed. His wasn't too big or too small and it was neat. I looked around as I walked around. Laurens turned to me smiling and dragged me to the table,"ill show you around later hehe." I nodded blushing a bit. He sat me down and served my food. I smiled nervously,"y-you didn't have to do that John seriously." "No I insisted it,"Laurens bowed,"after all, tonight I'm your obedient servant." I blushed pink and started to eat. After a while, Johns presence felt unusual. His face was red across his face,his words were slurred and he sang out of no where............he's drunk. John grabbed my shoulders and leaned down to my ear reeking of a wine stench,"hey hehe hic your gorgeous tonight." I blushed red and looked at him. He stared into my eyes smirking drunkly. I got up and walked to the door,"i-its getting late." John then backed me into a corner trapping me by putting both hands next to me ,"but the fun had just hic begun." I looked at him,"l-laurens I need to go." John chuckled lightly blushing red more and kissed me. I flinched and blushed dark red. I pushed him flustered and walked out of his house. W-what.....did that just happen just now.......he kissed me.
