chapter 10:from tallest to shortest

I twirled around in my room holding a new letter from Laurens. Ever since we got together,I always felt like melting. It would be nice if he actually lived here. I would love the company. I opened the letter and my smiling face turned into a confused one,"huh?? What's this??" It wasn't from Laurens..........It was from Lee. The same Lee from the dance. I blinked and sat down reading it. It read:

My dearest Alyssa,
I am going to inform you that I am fine ever since that wretched Laurens punched me. However when you ran away in fear,I couldn't go on another second without thinking about you. Your graceful figure,your adorable face. I must see you again. Meet me by the fountain at 8. See you then my love.

Did Lee just ask me out? I can't really tell but meeting him at the fountain seems really suspicious. But I don't want to leave him be so I guess I'll go. I got up leaving the letter on the table and walked out into town towards the fountain.

Lee pov

8 o'clock was the perfect time. No one is here and it would just be me and Alyssa. I can actually get my dance back since it got stolen from me. I then see,in the distance,a light purple dress with a beautiful Carmel brown skin to go with it. She's just as beautiful as the night before. I waved and she walked up to me curtsying,"good morning Lee." She's so genuine and formal but yet on the goofy side. I grabbed her hand and leaned to kiss it,"good morning love." I felt her flinch and take her hand away blushing pink. Ah~ Alyssa is literally the cutest. I want to take her away on an never-ending dream. "Become mine Alyssa,"I walked towards her as she backed away. "I-i uhm,"she stuttered. "We could have everything together. Just me and you,"I was suddenly stopped by a tall man. "Excuse me angletierre but this mademoiselle has a how you say guyfriend."

My pov

I blinked at looked at the man,"Lafayette??" He stared at Lee seriously and Lee glared,"it's boyfriend dimwit. Now move out of my way!!" "Mon Mon n'es-tu pas tétu?" Hm?? He's speaking in French now? Lee cocked an eyebrow,"speak in English!! This is why people like you aren't welcome in America." Lafayette blinked,"excusez-moi?? I'm more welcome you than you ever are." I giggled at his remark. Lee's face got red,"excuse me!?" Lafayette smiled,"nothing at all. If you don't mind john,her boyfriend, is looking for her. Au revoir Lee." He dragged me away and mumbled so he could make me laugh,"fils á man." I laughed,not knowing what it meant, and walked with Lafayette to where john is. I gotta admit........ Lafayette is a savoir in a tall body.
