chapter 13:a broken heart fixed

I stayed in my house for so long due to the incident. Laurens and the others tried to visit me but I was too upset. It was literally all my fault. One day,angelica banged on the door,"Alyssa!! Peggy is out of the hospital!!" I blinked and slowly looked towards the door. Peggy was standing in front of me smiling,"hi Alyssa hehe." I teared up and hugged the sisters. Angelica giggled and hugged me back along with Eliza and Peggy. i then heard some clear their throat and i looked up at the person,"oh.......um.....Laurens." He looked at me with a nervous smile,"are you gonna yell at me like last time?" i blinked and flinched walking to him,"oh laurens im so sorry for that. i hadn't slept for a while because of the........incident." i closed my eyes and shook my head. john then tilted my head up to him looking at my eyes. i blushed pink and he blinked,"your eyes look terrible. were you that tramatized?" i blinked and lightly nodded then he hugged me,"my poor innocent alyssa!! who ever shot our dear peggy infront of you, will pay for this!!" i blushed red and struggled in his hold,"john?! l-let go!!" laurens smiled and picked me up,"well girls. i think its time for her to get a lot of sleep. so she'll see you three soon okay." "of course. we'll come back when you tell us shes better. come on girls,"angelica smiled and walked off. peggy and elizasaid their good byes and walked off. john brought me to my room and layed me down. as soon as i hit the bed knowing peggy will be alright,i fell asleep.

i woke up fifteen minutes after and sat up looking around tiredly. john walked in and smiled,"oh your awake." i blinked and layed back down sighing,"i still feel exhausted." john sat next to me smiling,"i bet. you hadnt slept for a long while." i looked at him smiling softly glad your here right now john." john looked at me then smiled kissing my forehead,"yea.....me too."
