Steffy and Liam (Friends or Lover's)?

Chapter Four

Dayzee's Cafe

Liam tried to stifle a yawn as he waited in line at Dayzee's. After his dream last night, sleep was hard to come by afterwards. Liam had slept through his alarm this morning. He had just enough time to grab a quick shower and head out the door. Liam was dragging big time. If he was going to make it through the day he was going to need some coffee.

The line was moving pretty quickly. There was only two people ahead of him, so it wouldn't be much longer before he would get a much needed caffeine pick me up. Liam tried to hold it in but he yawned loudly.

Female voice: Looks like I'm not the only one who needed caffeine this morning.

Liam turned around and was surprised to see Steffy Forrester standing behind him. He immediately turned red because unbeknownst to Steffy, his naughty little dream about her last night was the reason he hadn't achieved much sleep.

Liam: Hey Steffy.

Steffy: Hey yourself Spencer. Rough night?

Liam: Yea, you could say that. Didn't get much sleep.

Steffy: I can Imagine.

Liam got nervous. How could she of known he had a dream about her?

Steffy: With all of the preparation with the party this weekend and starting your new position at Spencer Publications

Liam breathed a sigh of relief. He needed to stop being so paranoid.

Liam: Yea I would be lying if at times it doesn't get pretty overwhelming, but I'm handling it.

Steffy: Go to hear.

Dayzee's Cafe worker: Can I take your order sir?

Liam: Um yea, Just one second.

Liam turns to Steffy.

Liam: Hey what are drinking?

Steffy: Medium coffee. Regular. Why?

Liam turns around and gives the Dayzee's cafe worker his order and Steffy's

Steffy: You know you did not have to do that, Liam. I can buy my own coffee?

Liam: I know you can Steffy.

Steffy: Well thank you. That was very nice of you.

Liam: Nice? Just because I bought you a cup of coffee

Steffy: Yea. Not many guys are willing to do something as simple as buy a lady a cup of coffee today with out expecting something in return.

Liam blushed. Steffy noticed Liam blushing)

Steffy: (Laughing) But I know you are nothing not like that. Your a nice guy, Liam.

(Where had Liam heard that before)

Dayzee's Cafe worker: Order's up

Liam picked up his and Steffy's order's. He handed Steffy her coffee.

Steffy: Well thanks again Spencer. Next time coffee is on me. See ya around?

Liam: See ya around Forrester.

Steffy gave Liam a quick wink and walked out of Dayzee's . Liam released the breath he didn't realize he was holding when Steffy was out of sight. Liam was trying to play it cool but for the life of him he didn't understand why being around Steffy Forrester made him so nervous. The dream. It had to be the dream. Regardless of the reason, Liam didn't have time to dwell on the why. He was running late and he needed to get to work.
