Steffy and Liam (Friends or Lover's)?

Chapter Eighteen

(LAX Airport)

Liam hurries onto the Spencer jet with just 10 minutes to spare. He hands the flight attendant his bag and takes his seat.

$Bill: Cutting it pretty close there son. I thought Steffy would be the one who would keep us waiting.

Steffy: Ha, ha ha Bill

Liam: Yea sorry Dad.

$Bill and Steffy exchange looks. They both could tell something was off with Liam.

$Bill: So what took you so long son? Did you get stuck in traffic or something?

Liam: No.

$Bill: No?

Steffy looked at Liam. Something was definitely bothering him. He would barely look at her or his father. She was surprised in the sudden change in him. When they talked earlier he was happy-go-lucky Liam. All he could talk about was how much he was looking forward to this trip. The way he was acting now, was a far cry from earlier.

$Bill: What's going on with you son? Earlier you were excited about going to Vegas it was all you could talk about. Now your barely saying two words.

Liam: I'm just upset Dad.

$Bill: Obviously Liam. What's wrong with you son?

Liam: ( Sighing) I had a fight with Hope.

Liam: About the trip. She doesn't want me to go. She thinks it's inappropriate.

$Bill: So that's why you were late? Were you not going to come because of Hope?

Liam: Can we not talk about it? I'm here. That should be enough.

Bill started to respond but Steffy caught his eye and gave him a look that said. " Let it go".

$Bill: I will let it go. For now.

The pilot came over p.a and announced for them to buckle up and to prepare for take off. The flight to Las Vegas was quick and before they knew it they were landing at McCarran International Airport . Due to the high secrecy of the bedroom line re-launch Bill had every aspect of their arrival careful crafted. A car would be waiting to take them straight to their hotel, " The Venetian". After check in they would head over to the Forrester Boutique to make the final preparations for the fashion show that would take place tomorrow. After the fashion show there would be a after party at JEWEL Night club at the Aria Resort and Casino.

In the car ride to the hotel Bill went over the itinerary with Steffy and Liam. Unfortunately was still distracted by his argument with Hope from earlier. He barely heard a word his father said. After a smooth check in at the " The Venetian " Bill, Liam and Steffy were lead to their rooms. Bill had booked them all separate rooms on the same floor. Liam and Steffy's suites were next door to each other and Bill's suite was further down the hall. Bill informed Liam and Steffy that they had 2 hours before they needed to meet him down at his room so they could then head out to the Forrester Boutique.

Liam took a quick shower and decided to watch some t.v. in his suite until he had to meet at with Steffy and his father.

Knock, knock, knock

Liam goes to open the door and is surprised to see Steffy standing there. As always she looked flawless. Apparently she had decided to shower and change as well. She was wearing a black short romper with a tying halter neckline, surplice bodice and a sultry open back. On her feet she wore matching black strappy high heeled sandals. Her chestnut locks were curly and pulled from her face with her aviator sunglasses that rested on top of her head. Liam thought to himself it should be illegal to look this beautiful.
