I can't just talk to you in front of me
It's not as easy as you think
I have to prepare myself mentally
Wrong answer and my world will sink
Meeting with you face to face
Is like going on stage with a blank paper
Knowing that I am out of place
My shyness I would love to taper
How do people do small talk?
I know I can talk a lot too
When I try, I become still as a rock
Especially when I'm next to you
I know you don't mind my silent presence
My presence you still adore
Everything in my mind I try to make sense
My mind, your words, and so much more
I appreciate the time you allot for me
Our schedules are busy as is
Going home around two or three
I love all the time of his
Yet we're not officially in a relationship
Neither are we just friends
I won't let you go through that hardship
Until my shyness ends

Fluster of Emotions
PoetryLove, heartbreaks, confusion, misunderstandings, any romantic situation all put into poems. I may not be the best poet or a poet at all, but revealing how I can feel deep down inside is all that counts.
