How could you not see what was right in front of you?
I would've been more than happy if I were in your shoes
He gave you all the love and all his affection
He made time for you to give you attention
How do you repay him, you treat him like dirt
Now here I am healing him from all the hurt
I liked him and he knew that, but I let him go
He went with you and loved you, I thought that you should know
Why you're so ignorant I don't know why
Let me just tell you something, he's an honest and nice guy
You used him and it hurts to listen to
I was in the dark and didn't realize what he was going through
Not anymore, I know I'm not much
I'd like to imagine that I am the such
Thanks to you, he doesn't care anymore
I just don't know what he thinks of me, except I'm a bore
All I can do now is listen and be there for him
Even though he won't love me because my chances are slim
