We followed Rochelle down the corridoor and into a large room. In the centre of the room, were a group of twelve people, obviously from the Capitol, judging by their dress sense. The moment all twelve of us entered the room, they stopped whispering among themselves. They spread themselves out and stood in a straight line. Immediately, the woman at the far end caught my eyes.
She had long, light brown hair, the tips of it dyed a caramel blonde. Among the sea of brown, were a few threads of purple and blue. She was slightly built and extremely tall, the tips of her hair brushing her butt. She had on a sparkling off shoulder dress, paired with a pair of light purple ankle boots.
I realized that her dress was made of white glitter, and each flake of glitter seemed to be giving off a thousand watts of light. She had violet eyes, and gorgeous, full lips. She noticed me staring at her and smiled at me. I immediately felt my cheeks redden, and I gave her a small smile in return.
I averted my attention to Rochelle, who was standing in front of them. “Okay then, let’s meet your stylists!” she said, gesturing to the row of twelve behind her. They smiled at us and started introducing themselves.
The male stylists: Taylor with his brown hair gelled into spikes, Eli with his blue hair, Blake and his blonde locks, Chace with his dazzling orange eyes, Avan and his light brown eyes and Silver with his well, silver eyes.
The female stylists: Kelly and her purple hair, Hayley with her red-velvet hair, Sierra with her shocking pink eyes, Bailey and her blonde hair , Katy with her lime green eyes and Liz, the one that caught my attention.
“This year, the male stylist will be paired with the male tributes and the female tributes with the female stylists, “Kelly said, giving us a warm smile.
There was a moment of awkward silence which was broken when Sierra stepped forward towards Rene and said, “Come on dearie, you’re with me.”
And just like that, the stylists began picking their tributes. Kelly with Hianne, Hayley and Jade, Bailey with Alicia, Katy and Ashleigh, Taylor and Bryan, Eli with Aaron, Blake with Garreth, Chace with Shane, Avan and Jacob, Silver with Cole. Which left me with Liz.
She walked towards me and grinned at me. “Hello Isabella. Let’s go to your room and have a chat shall we?” she said in a soft voice. I waved goodbye to Jacob and he walked over and pecked me on the lips.
“See you at dinner,” he whispered, squeezing my shoulders, before disappearing with Avan. I turned back to Liz and saw her grinning at me.
“He’s really cute,” she whispered, smiling at me. I blushed and said, “Come on, let’s get started,” leading the way to my room.
I opened the door and found my prep team already inside. There was the tall and lanky Vic, the short and luscious Ari and the tall and stunningly handsome Dani.
The moment I entered the room, they converged on me taking in my figure and height. I sighed as they pushed me over to a chair and began to work on me for tonight’s Opening Ceremony. I closed my eyes and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.
