Trigger Warning- Mentions of Abuse
They stand in the bathroom in their dorm and lock the door. They slowly pull up their sleeves and then lift their jumper up only revealing only their stomach. Their eyes look at the bruises, black and brown. Purple and blue. This is the exact reason they hate at being home and just for this reason, (Y/N)'s father abuses them. Ever since their mother left, he drinks a lot. He also has anger issues, he is on medication to stop him from getting too angry but he doesn't take it, instead he lefts out all his anger on (Y/N).

They enter the potions classroom and sit down at their desk. Something hits them on their head, they turn around and pick up a note with their name on it. They slowly open it.
Dear (y/n),
Hey meet me in the astrometry tower at 11:00pm, be careful not to get caught by flich or you'll get in trouble. See ya later
~You'll see later
"Miss/Mr (Y/L/N) is there something that's more interesting the my lesson?" Professor Snape asked.
"No Professor, sorry"
They grab their quill and quickly write down the notes.
"One more and I'll take points of hufflepuff" he snapped.
(Y/N) already knew that Professor Snape favours Slytherins. Well he is head of slytherin house after all

(Y/N) walks back to the common room, they love the way it smells. All the food smells coming from the kitchen. They love the way the common room looks, the sun shining in through the circled windows.
This feels like a place they want to call home, (Y/N) heads up the stairs. They walk into their private dorm room.
Professor Dumbledore gave them their own room for two reasons. 1-because they are new and a transfer 2- he knows they're hiding something.
They get out of their robes and put their on your black trousers, gray jumper which has their name written in yellow on the back and yellow intails on the front. They also put on their black converses.
They sneak out of their dorm and common room. They sneakily walk to the astrometry tower. They don't see anyone, they turn on the light and wait. They can hear someone coming up the stairs. They see a figure a figure they recognise.
"Hey, long time no see" he says.
"Cedric"
(Y/N) runs up and hugs him. He hugs them back tightly. They bite their lip trying not to let out a whimper.
"Hey (Y/N)" he says.
"Ouch" They whimper as he places a hand on your shoulder.
"Sorry, what's wrong?" He asks Calmly.
"Nothing" They say turning around.
He puts his hands around them. Somehow he doesn't put his arms where their bruises are. He puts his chin on their other shoulder which hasn't be hit yet, but they know it will. He whispers in to their ear.
"You can tell me anything (Y/N), what ever it is I'll keep it a secret"
They love the way his hot breath feels on their ear and neck. For some reasons this makes them trust Cedric. He wouldn't do anything bad. Would he?
"Cedric , you can't tell anyone. My father abuses me" They say as a tear rolls down their cheek. He turns them around and wipes the tear with his thumb.
"I'll keep a secret but you need to tell someone otherwise it won't stop" he says gently to reassure them.
They shake your head and they start crying heavily. He pulls them into a comforting hug being careful trying not to hurt them.
"Shh, I don't like seeing my best friend cry" he says.
They smile a bit at the fact he called them his best friend. They burry their head into his chest. In their head they think 'I think I've fallen for my best friend'
