Back To Hogwarts

Harry's POV:

It was September the 1st. Why am I going back to school? Because Headmistress McGonnigal had decided that all the students who were meant to be in Hogwarts last year would get to repeat due to unforeseen circumstances.

Any way, Ron, Hermione and Ginny had spent the last week with me at 12 Grimwauld Place, the house my godfather Sirius had given to me in his will.

I stopped short when I saw the barrier surrounded by muggles, Non-wizarding folk.

"So how do we get through?" A boy who looke kinda like me said, except he didn't have a scar and he was, well, muscular.

"It says to walk into the barrier between platforms nine and ten." A girl holding a sheet of paper said.

"I vote we push Percy into it and see what happens." A buff looking girl said firmly. I could tell she wasn't joking. "Like come on, Percy has the least brain cells and it would be fun!"

"Umm, you guys sure that's safe?" The Percy kid asked.

"Yeah, on three." A good looking girl dressed in punk-rock clothing said. "Three!" And pushed him straight into the barrier.

When he disappeared they all looked at each other. They must be American wizards. I mean, they have American accents and can get through the barrier so why not.

"Hey. You guys new?" I said walking up to them. Ron, Hermione and Ginny followed closely. "I'm Harry Potter, this is Ron Weasly, his sister and my girlfriend, Ginny Weasly, and Hermione Granger."

"Hi." The girl with the paper said. "I'm Claire, this is Thalia, Nico, Clarrise, Chris, Malcom, Will and the one who disappeared was Percy."

"Hello." The others chorused.

Then they turned and walked straight into the barrier. No fear. I was impressed.

When we got to the other side we saw them talking to McGonnigal her self.

"Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny." She said nodding to us as we came through. She then turned and walked away to one of the private carriages at the front of the train.

Then we boarded, found a compartment and settled down for a long ride.

"So what do you think of those new kids?" Hermione asked.

"They're strange. They have this aura of power around them. I wonder if any of them will be in Griffindor?" I said.

"Yeah, I don't know. We don't know much about them, so let's just not make too much fuss yet." Ginny said sensibly ending that conversation.

"I wonder where Malfoy is? He's usual bothering us by now." Ron wonder aloud.

"I agree. It's strange."

Hey. Just to let you know, I will be doing shorter more often updates rather than longer less often ones.

But in some ways this is better... right? Oh well. Even if you don't like it that's how I will be updating from now on.
