"I don't think it's a good idea to split up."
"I think we should, we could cover more ground. You and Elyza can go together and I'll be fine on my own."
"I agree with Strand." Elyza says.
Great I'm outnumbered.
"Fine. But we all meet back here in precisely three hours."
They shake their heads in agreement.
"Okay. Let's go princess." Elyza says standing up and putting her knife in her jeans.
I follow closely behind her.
"So did you know Strand before the Apocalypse?, assume he's not family at least not by blood." She laughs.
"My brother was with him and when we found Nick Strand took us back to his place and we got in his huge boat and now we're here."
"You sound annoyed what living in the apocalypse isn't ideal for you?" She laughs again.
"Why does everything have to be a joke to you Elyza." I grumble and start walking ahead of her.
"Well that looks promising." Elyza says from behind me.
I look up. A store.
We go up to the Windows.
"It looks empty. Let's just break the Windows." I say turning around to grab a rock.
"Not a good idea princess." Elyza warns.
"I think I got this." I say annoyed.
She blocks me.
I glare at her for a few seconds and the she turns around and knocks on the window.
A few seconds later three infected our at the Window.
"Well, I guess we could of just through a rock at the window and broke it and just went on in, ya know sense there isn't any deceased." Elyza says sarcastically.
She kills the infected through a hole in the top of the window.
I check behind me.
Clear.
I follow Elyza in.
