Chapter 18

Elyza Lex.

I assign everyone a job.

Nick, Ofelia, and Chris and Jane work the fence killing the deceased through it.

Madison and Travis are leaving the prison to check and see if there is any water near by.

Alicia and me are going on a run.

And Strand is gonna be doing some hunting on the outskirts of the prison.

Me and Alicia hop in the truck and start driving.

We find a family dollar.

There is plenty of deceased wondering around. I don't use my gun it will attract more.

So I use my katana and just cut off their heads.

Then we enter.

"So how old are you?"

I laugh.

"You're really wanting to start small talk right now Princess?"

She laughs.

After we both get inside I close the door and block it so no one can sneak up on us while we're getting supplies.

"I'm twenty. You?"

"Eighteen."

We start by getting the bags and filling them up.

We start filing them up with battery's then we move to food, bottled water, clothes, flashlights.

"Okay Alicia will you go over and check and see if they have any buckets?"

She nods.

It's not important but I grab some colored pencils and a sketchbook.

"Here."

She throws the buckets on the ground.

"Okay you were gone for like 15 seconds what could have possibly pis*** you off?"

"Idk I just started thinking."

"About?"

She sighs.

"It's just so SCREWED UP. I had plans! I was gonna go to college next year a life i was finally gonna do something with me life and now it's a mess! And it's just not fair and-

I grab ahold of her face and kiss her.
