"Okay we both know how it is when we split up so let's not do that. Okay?"
Alicia nods in agreement.
I go to one side of the isle while Alicia is facing the other. I start grabbing cans of food and putting them in a cart I grabbed at the front door.
"Alicia do you see a can opener over there?"
No answer.
"Alicia?" I turn around.
Alicia turns around as well and faces me with tears rolling down her cheek.
I walk over to her and pull her in for a hug.
"I know your worried about them, I am too." I say sincerely.
"I...know." She say I between sobs.
We stay there like that for a while.
