Jacob's P.O.V.

I smiled as everything was falling into place. Lane is mad at Karma, Chresanto is feeling Karma's vibe, and soon, I'm going to fuck that all up. See, I've been feeling Karma, but before I could even hold a conversation, Lane came and we started dating.

I wonder what it's like dating Karma. One of my boy's Rayan dated Karma he moved across the country. Karma was so heartbroken, and Lane dragged me with her to see if Karma was alright. That's when I noticed how beautiful Karma is, inside and out. Her curly hair, her beautiful blue eyes, her light skin complexion. Karma was truly beautiful. I guess I got her to that breaking point, and we finally saw that ugly side of her.

I think I can say I'm falling in love with her.

 

Karma's P.O.V.

I grabbed my bag and walked towards the Nurse's office. I heard I beat Lane pretty badly. Lane always knew I could fight like a man, so I don't understand why she would even step to me. Well, that's besides the point. I wanna apoligize to Lane because I feel like I really fucked up the friendship. I just want her to apoligize for the birthday thing, and I hope we'll be good.

I turned the corner into the room and saw Lane sitting on the bed, with Jacob snuggling close to her. 'That should be me.' I thought. I shook that thought out of my mind as I knocked on the door. Lane groaned and looked up, groaning again when she realized it was me.

"Hey, um, Lane, can we talk?" I said, barely above a whisper.

"Are you sure it's gonna be talking? Cause I think I can whoop your ass this time." She snarled.

"I'm not trying to cause problems, I'm trying to fix this friendship." I declared.

"What friendship?" She said.

"The one that started October 31st, when we were in kindergarten. I was wearing a cinderella costume, and you were wearing a Ariel costume. Kelseey decided to pour her juicebox on me, and you thought that she was being mean. You beat the shit out of that devil child, and we became friends instantly. That friendship Lane. The one that started nearly 12 years ago. That friendship." I stated, hurt that she even questioned it.

"You humiliated me in front of the whole school Karma! You beat me up!"

"I know and I'm sorry. Even though you initiated the fight. But it was a fight, you win some, you lose some, and you just happened to lose. Plus, you know I fight like a man, and I'm heavy-handed. You brought that upon yourself."

"Whatever. Jacob, I'm going to the bathroom. Watch my stuff?" She said, avoiding the fact that I'm right.

Jacob nodded, and she got up pushing past me. I bit my tongue, trying not to say anything I'll regret.

After she left, Jacob just stared at me.

"Karma, I really didn't think you would have it in you." Jacob said.

"My hands are bisexual, y'know. I really don't have a problem fighting you either." I snarled. I'm really tired of this child.

He got up and came closer to me. He was all up in my face with his minty fresh breath, trying to make me weak. Nope, not happening.

"Karma, I want you." He whispered in my ear.

"No." I bluntly said.

"I want to love you. I want you to be my girl. I don't want Lane." He whispered again, his breath on my neck. He started kissing on my neck.

I pushed him away. "No, no, no, Jacob! You are the reason I'm in this spot! I don't want you!" I said. I was breaking down. "You are the reason I'm like this Jacob! I can't deal with this!" I cried.

"It's okay Karma. I'll be at your house at 6." He winked at me. I stormed out of the nurse's office and bumped into Lane.

"I-I'm sorry." I croaked, tears still running down my face. I started running off.

"Wait, Karma! What happened?" She screamed after me. I just started crying harder and ran.

I can't even run from this anymore.
