Karma's P.O.V.

Once I got my things from Chresanto's house I went back home. My mother wasn't there, and that's what I liked. I sat my stuff down in the corner of my room and just sighed. I sat down on my computer chair and decided to start my homework. I took out my binder and just started crying. I've been holding everything in for so long. It felt nice to just let go. What hurt the most is that I was starting to really like Chresanto. As a boyfriend and a person. So why would he ever cheat? I just don't understand.

My phone started ringing and I wiped my face and blew my nose. I grabbed it off my desk and picked up.

"Hello?" I asked into the phone.

"Hey... um Karma? This is Jacob. I thought maybe you needed to talk..." Jacob said into the phone.

"Thanks for the concern Jacob, but I don't think you can be trusted." I said.

"No, I'm being serious this time Karma. I want to take you out for a late lunch. Just for you to talk." Jacob insisted.

"Alright, fine. Pick me up at 4?" I said, glancing at the clock. It was 3 o'clock now and I needed to do this AP Calculus homework.

"Sure. I'm gonna take you somewhere nice and secluded. So um.. dress pretty? I mean you already do, but.. nevermind. What you wore today was fine." He said, stumbling over his words. I can tell he was nervous.

"I don't mind changing out of sweats Jacob. I'll see you around 4." I laughed.

Maybe he is changing.

Jacob's P.O.V.

I hung up the phone and smacked myself in the face. I never sounded so stupid. Karma probably thinks I'm nervous. Well I am, but she can't know that. She can't know I liked her since forever.

I started to pace around my room. What should I wear ? I'm only taking her out on a picnic. Shouldn't I go to the store and get things? What if I say the wrong things ? What if I talk too much or say too little?

I just need to calm down. Let me goto the store and get some food and stuff. 

I got my wallet out of my room and headed to my jeep. I headed to the nearest Pathmark and parked. I walked inside and picked up a basket. I headed to the cold cuts section and got turkey,cheese, and ham. I went to get some rolls, tomatoes and lettuce. Then I went to get a pack of Capri Suns. Call me childish, but they're easier than actual juice and cups. I then went to the bakery and got vanilla cupcakes. After I got some plastic plates and some napkins. Next I'll have to go to the florist and get some roses for her.

I paid for the stuff and placed it into the backseat of my car. I got into the front and drove to the nearest florist. I got a dozen white roses and placed them in the car. I drove home to start preparing the sandwiches. It was 3:30 so I had to hurry.

Karma's P.O.V.

I got out the shower and put on a pair of jeans, a white tank and some wedges. I hope I'm not over doing it. I heard someone ring the door bell and I quickly put on some jewelry and sprayed on some perfume. I grabbed my bag and my phone and walked downstairs. I opened the door to see Chresanto holding flowers and chocolate.

"What do you want ?" I sneered.

"Your forgiveness. I want us to be back together." He pleaded.

"You're pathetic. Do you really think I would take you back? I trusted you! You just broke my heart! And with a damn thot? Really Chresanto?" I snarled.

"Karma, I apologize. That was a one time thing." He said.

"When. When did you cheat on me?" I asked. I pray it wasn't too recently.

"It was the day after I let you stay with me. You were at a student government meeting and I was lonely. My dick was craving some pussy." He said.

After Chresanto said that I was taken back. How dare he?

"Get the fuck off my property. Asshole." I snarled.

I closed the door and went back inside. At this point I don't even feel like going out to lunch with Jacob. Or doing anything.

I sat down on the couch and took my phone out my bag. As I was about to dial Jacob's number, he called me.

"Hey Karma I'm outside. And I have a surprise." Jacob cheered.

He seemed excited to go out so I might as well. I picked up my bag and walked outside. I locked the door and looked up. Jacob was standing outside his car with flowers in his hand. I walked up to him and he gave me the flowers.

"Wow, um.. you look nice." He said, looking me up and down.

"Thanks, and thanks for the flowers. I feel like I'm over dressed." I laughed.

"No, you're fine. And I meant it literally." Jacob flirted. I just blushed.

He walked me to the passenger side of the car and opened the door for me.

"Jacob's being a gentleman? Are we in a parallel universe?" I joked.

"Nah, I'm just tryna impress you. I truly do have feelings for you and I'm tryna change." He smiled.

I blushed and he kissed my hand. Should I trust him?

How was that guys? I'm a nugget for not updating in so long.

So should Karma just give Jacob a chance? He's trying to change.

Side Note Of A Side Note- I'm probably gonna delete 'Help Me!' and 'Girl'. I'm not feeling them anymore. Plus you guys aren't reading so why write.
