Karma (A Mindless Behavior Story)

Chresanto's P.O.V.

I decided on taking Karma to my house. No, it's not as big as hers nor as nice. It's in the hood, and I'm scared for her. She's probably scared as hell too. I told her that it's in the projects and she just nodded.

Right now, she's sleep in the car. I drove up to my apartment building and parked the car. 

"Babe... babe wake up." I whispered as I shook her arm. She groaned ad woke up, looking at me. 

"Where are we?" She asked. 

"My house. Come on." 

I grabbed her blue duffel bag filled with her necessities for the next week. She insisted on carrying it, but I decided that she had enough for today. 

We walked to the elevator and I pressed the button. After a few minutes, the door opened. I held Karma's hand as we walked inside. 

"Watch out for the piss. Sorry it's so nasty." I said, embarrased. I pressed the button to take us tothe 6th floor.

"It's fine. I rather be here than that hellhole." Karma said sheepishly. I could tell that she was hurt by her mother's actions.

The door opened and we walked out. Karma followed me to my apartment. Once I opened the door, I was attacked with hugs. 

"Corin and Sakari, this is my girlfriend Karma. Say hi." I said, moving out the way a little so that they can see her.

"Oooh, she's pwetty, Chwes." The vivacious three year old, Sakari complimented. 

"Thank you sweetheart, what's your name?" Karma asked, her mood instantly changing.

"Sakawi. And this Cowin." Sakari said, pointing to her older sister. 

"She has trouble pronouncing her r's. We're trying to get her fixed." Corin said, trying to whisper. 

Karma laughed and we walked inside. I locked the door and watched Karma sit down on the couch.

"Corin, where's mommy?" I asked. 

"She's in her room sleeping. Shhhhh!" Corin whispered. 

"Isn't it past both of your bedtimes?"  I asked, looking at the clock that read 11:24 pm. 

I watched Sakari yawn and shake her head no. 

"She's adorable Chres." Karma complimented. I smiled and picked up Corin.

"Can you get Sakari please? They both need to be asleep." I asked Karma.

"But I'm not sleepy, Chres!" Corin explained, her eyes shutting slowly.

"Yes you are. Both you and your sister are tired." I reassured.

"I wanna play with Kawma. Pleaaaseeee Chwes?" Sakari asked, her eyes closed and her head nuzzled into Karma's neck.

"We can play tomorrow guys, I promise." Karma said smiling.

By then both girls were sleep. I showed Karma to their room, and layed both girls down. I tucked them in and gave them a kiss on the head. 

"You're really good with them Chres." Karma whispered as I closed their room door.

I walked into the livingroom to get Karma's bag.

"Ehh, it's nothing. I'm just trying to show them how they're supposed to be treated, y'know."

I pulled Karma to my room. "Welp, this is it."

"It's so cute Chres!" Karma praised.

She took off her shoes and sat down on my bed.

"Well it's late. Let me get ready for bed." Karma said.

I sat down and looked at her.

"Turn aroundddd! You can't see me!" I turned around and tried to peek. "Close your eyes and cover them."

I sighed. "Let me go tell my momma you're here."

I got up and knocked. This is gonna be hard...

Welp, I hope you liked it and that it was long enough. But this chapter was dedicated to just Chres and Karma's perfect relationship. Next chapter probably gonna be Lane and Jacob's bullshit.
