Compromise

Karma's P.O.V.

Lane kept bothering me all day. It's now lunch adn I finally got some peace and quiet. Jacob has been staring at me, and Lane follows me around. I'm tired of these two. 

"Guess who?" A manly voice said from behind me, their hand wrapped around my eyes. 

I couldn't feel the roughness of Chresanto's skin like I expected, so I quickly turned around.

"Damn ma, you didn't even guess. You're not really good at this game.' Jacob chuckled.

"Leave me alone." I snarled.

"But baby, I wanna take you out. Have some fun..." He started, touching my cheek. I slapped his hand away from me. "Show you around town, give you the time of your life." He whispered into my ear.

"I am not your 'baby' and I don't even want your presence around me. I suggest you get away from me before I get the principal." I glared at him. He started laughing.

"My aunt? Karma you're ridiculous. My aunt isn't gonna do shit to me." He laughed.

I forgot our principal, Mrs. Smith, was his aunt and that he could use that to an advantage.

"One date, and I'll leave you alone." 

"Where the hell is Chres?" I thought. I tried my hardest to ignore Jacob but he keeps staring at me. "His eyes are nice..." I thought.

"No." I said, pride running through my veins.

"Please Karma. You're the prettiest girl in this school and I'm sorry for my brother's actions when we were younger. Just please, one date?" Jacob pleaded. 

My eyes got wide and I dragged him outside the cafeteria.

"Who told you?" I asked.

"What?"

"Who told you? I asked, venom laced in my voice.

"My brother- he told me." He answered, his voice cracking.

"Don't you say shit about it. Ever." I snarled. 

"Why do you think I was mean to you all those years? I had a crush on you and I wanted to take that away from you. Make it memorable." He said.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" I yelled. All those years of therapy gone down the drain. 

"Karma I'm sorry. I never meant a mean word that I said. I didn't know what to do with all that anger so I took it out on you." 

"Jacob, just do me a favor and never talk to me again. Please." I cried. I was holding back tears and I needed Chres to come and give me a hug.

I ran from Jacob to go find Chres. I ran into the staircase and I found Chres kissing another girl. 

All I could do is gasp.

"Oh. Hi Karma." The girl smirked. "Chres call me later."

She walked out the staircase, bumping me in the shoulder during the process. 

I just walked up the stairs to the second floor. I went to my locker and got all the shit of his that was in there.

"Karma, I'm sorry. Just hear me out." Chres pleaded. I threw pictures, stuffed animals, and letters onto the floor. I took his sweater off of the hook and threw it down. 

"I trusted you. But you did this. We're done Chresanto." I snarled.

"Karma she meant nothing!" Chresanto said. 

"I'll be by to get my shit. Have a blessed day." And with that, I closed my locker and walked away.

Sooo... Karma and Chres split... and Jacob wants Karma... Badly..

I guess it was short, but it's whatever.

Oh who peeped the new cover? I did it myself! I'm proud cause I like it.

SO guys! I have a new idea for a story! It's gonna be MB related (as always) and it's about a girl in college. 

If  you guys think that just sounds interesting then I'll do it. I'm gonna call it "Girl" so I'll probably post a preview later tonight.
