I Don't Think So Mr Robertson...

Moving.

I threw my suitcase into the back of the pickup slamming the tailgate up.

We were moving to West Monroe,Louisiana.

I loaded my horse, Winter, into the trailer we would be pulling behind us.

We pulled out of the driveway of our beautiful place with its barn.

I shed a silent tear or two as we left with Winter kicked and screaming to go back home it was like he knew what we were doing.

We are moving from South Dakota down to Louisiana because my Dad and Mother both got promoted down to there.

We drove all day as I texted my best friend, Lexia,that I have known  since kindergarten.

Hey, I'm gonna miss you! 😢💔 (face crying and a kiss mark)I texted her actually shedding a tear.

Imma miss you to sweets💋(kiss mark) love u. she said.

I sent a kiss back along with a love you too.

I plugged my custom Beats studios into my iPhone 5s, yes my parents are pretty rich, turning my music on.

I listened and sang along as Everybody's Got Somebody But Me played. This song literally represents my love life.

"I wish that I could take a pin to a heart shaped ballon, everybody's got somebody but me." I murmured as I read some books on Wattpad.

We stopped at a gas station and I took Winter out of the trailer to stretch his legs and fill his water as, Lily, took her horse out.

I walk him around as my mom and Dad went inside to pay for the gas and buy water for Winter and my sister,Lily's, horse, Midnight. .

I leaned against Winter's side getting my purple tight shirt and blue skinny jeans dirty.

My mom came out as I walked Winter into the trailer again.

I clipped the butt bar closed as I grabbed a sack of water bottles from my mom.

I filled the bucket until the water bottles ran out.

I got back into the pickup right as a creepy boy started hitting on me and Lily and trying to get our numbers.

"Dad get out of here quick! Even if you have to run that kid over." I said trying to encourage his foot to add pressure in my mind and Lily smiled.

"I won't run him over but we'll leave." He said as he drove out of the station.

I turned my music back on as I slid my headphones on, spread out on the seat as much as I could with Lily there and fell asleep.

Wow I can't believe I slept that long.

We pulled into my cousin's driveway.

"Amy!" I screamed running to her from the pickup.

"Emma!" she screamed back running to me.

We met in the middle of the driveway in a tight embrace.

"So I'm guessing this is Winter?" She asked with her arm slung around my shoulder as we walked to the trailer.

"Yeah it sure is,let me get him out," I suggested,opening the trailer and taking him out.

Amy whistled. "Wow! He's gorgeous!" she said as she rubbed his body.

"Yeah I use him for rodeos,oh I almost forgot to ask, do you have any rodeos around here?" I asked.

"Yeah there's one in a week that I'm going to,you can come with," she offered.
