I Don't Think So Mr Robertson...

Dinner.

We knocked on the door and I looked at our little group.

My Mom and Dad were wearing black and white,Lily was wearing a pink dress with me in my Blue Jeans looking very underdressed.

The door opened to show Jace and Missy with their kids behind them and a whole family.

They welcome us in and I didn't feel under dressed any more.

They were almost all wearing some type of camo on.

We shook everyone's hands introducing everyone to each other.

I shook Reed, Mia,Cole's and John Luke's hands.

As I shook John Luke's hand I saw him staring at Lily.

"Hi wanna be friends?" Mia asked me as we shook hands but she brought me into a hug.

"Sure!"I said happily, I already have a new friend! Surprisingly enough. 

I shook Cole's hand and felt a zap.

I held in a gasp it wasn't static electricity.

Miss Kay called us to the table and Cole was still holding onto my hand.

We sat down Cole making me sit beside him.

We were having catfish and mashed potatoes.

I only ate a little bit of catfish and a little spoonful of mashed potatoes.

We all went into the living room to talk and watch tv.

John Luke's POV

I saw her, she was absolutely beautiful.

She was wearing a pink flowing dress that hugged her just right with just a little bit of makeup to complement her high cheekbones.

I shook her hand and felt her slightly cold hand and held it longer than I should have, I leaned in as she started to turn a little red.

"Hi beautiful." I whispered in her ear as she shivered and turned even redder.

She continued along the line of the family and we all break apart.

I found Lily and Sadie talking.

I swept her away and pulled her to the table as Miss Kay called everyone to the table.

We sat together and she only ate a little bit.

I plopped another piece of fish on her plate as she screeched.

She tossed the fish onto my plate as Miss Kay chided us.

We both grinned and looked at each other when we saw each others grins we laughed.

We all walked into the living room talking and watching tv.

We sat down on the floor and I pulled her onto my lap.

She squirmed around in my lap trying to tear my arms off from around her waist.

I pinned her arms to her sides and put my chin on her shoulder.

"John Luke!" my mother and father chided me and I ignored them.

Cole and Emma came and sat down beside us as Lily whisper yelled "Emma help!"

Emma grabbed my arms and tried to yank my hands apart as Cole tried to pull Emma off of me.

He finally succeeded and pulled her onto his lap.

She struggled and threw a few punches that struck Cole.

He groaned as she laughed.

He finally got her calmed down so she wouldn't hit him more.

We watched some tv and I saw Cole and Emma getting closer.

I saw Cole get really close to Emma's face.

I thought they might sneak a kiss before they did, but unfortunately that didn't happen.

They drew their faces back and laughed as if Cole told her a funny story.

She laid her head on his shoulder as Lily laid her head on my shoulder.

She soon fell asleep.

Emma's POV

I was talking to Cole while sitting on his lap when he motioned for me to come closer.

He whispered a funny story to me.

I tried not to interrupt him by laughing.

His face was so close to mine I could see his eyelashes that curled slightly at the ends.

I hoped he didn't close the gap and kiss me and he didn't, oh that's right, his family and mine were here thank God!

I laughed trying not to be too loud.

He grinned.  We laughed, and I laid my head on his shoulder,quickly falling asleep.
