The morning finally came along and Logan was acting like a kid in a candy store that he gets to take his wife home.

Logan's POV

He wakes to see Ace sitting up and eating breakfast "morning sleepy head" she says

"Morning Ace "I say back and then I hear them.

"Morning darling" Finn says in a jubilant tone.

"Why hello mother how are we feeling today?" Robert asks as he enters

"Morning Rory, you are looking better today" Colin says as he walks in with the boys.

"Morning guys, I am feeling a bit better I will be glad to get home and relax in the comfort I prefer." She tells us as we all just relax and watch her.

"So what has been happening? How are all your ladies?" She asks the boys trying to lighten the mood

"Rosemary is amazing and she wishes you a speedy recovery and will come see you once you are settled at home." Finn tells us.

"Steph is planning the engagement party to end all engagement parties. It's ok it's in a couple of months we made sure you would be mostly healed so you can enjoy it." Colin tells us.

"So Robert how is my crazy best friend Paris going?" She asks him as he listens to everyone else.

"She is fine busy with work I haven't seen her in a week but we have been talking" he says in an almost disappointed tone. 

"Robert do I hear a hint of disappointment in your voice that you actually miss Paris?" Ace asking him somewhat mockingly.

"Yes alright I miss her I like her very much are you happy now." He says and walks out of he room to get some air.

"Sorry I didn't realise that was such a soft spot." She mumbled and huddled into the blankets. "Don't worry Ace he will be fine just don't think he has ever fell for a girl like this before and he doesn't know how to handle it."
I tell her.

"So what time do we get to blow this joint?" Finn asks

"After the doctors rounds so in about 2 hours did you get some clothes for Ace to wear home?" I ask making sure we have what we need

"Yes Logan stop worrying so much we have your backs." Colin says reassuringly.

The doctors do there rounds and finally say I can take Rory home. I help ease her out of bed and help her get dressed and into the wheelchair. We make our way out of the hospital and to a waiting car ready to take us home. The boys took Finn's chopper back to the city giving me and Ace time alone together.

Once she was seated in the car I took the wheelchair back to emergency and then went back to the car and joined her for our hour ride back to the city.

We arrive home at lunchtime and I take Rory upstairs settle her into the couch with a blanket over her and order Vietnamese for lunch.

It arrives 45 mins later and I set it up on the coffee table and put a plate together for Ace then myself and I sit back next to her and enjoy this quite time together.

"Ace have you been thinking of any names for our son?" I ask her because I have had a few float through my head and am wondering what she is thinking.

"Yes but nothing I thought off has really stuck for me, how about you?" She says

"Well I was thinking about having Richard in there somewhere I know Emily will love that but I don't think I want it as his first name." I tell her.

"I like that but what will his first name be?" She asks thinking out loud.

"I know his may not go over well with some of the boys but how about Finn Richard Huntzberger?" I ask her with hope she likes it because I have my heart set on it.

"Logan,that sounds perfect to me are you sure Robert and Colin won't be too pissed that we didn't use there names at all?" She asks back.

"They will get over it, it only matters what we like." I tell her

"We need to start organising the nursery Logan." She says as we continue to eat after deciding on our sons name.

"I will organise the painters to come and paint it in the next couple of weeks and once you are up and about me we can go shopping for furniture for the room whatever you want. But I can say that honour is organising the baby shower." I tell her "she doesn't have to do that." She tells me "but she wants to and there is no stopping her she has been working on it since we revealed the sex." I tell Ace.

We finish eating and I clear up after lunch and grab my laptop from the study so I can see what I have missed while at the hospital. I decide not to go back to work till the following week as I want to make sure everything is set with staff. Ace turns the TV on and starts watching I Love Lucy "how many times have you watched this Ace?" I ask her "You can never watch this too many times" she replies from the other end of the couch as I answer some emails and let my secretary know I will be back in on Monday. After doing a couple of hours work I look over and see Ace asleep and I let her be and walk over to the wet bar and grab a scotch. I then hear her phone ringing from her bag in the entry way. I make my way over and answer it without looking at who it is.

"Rory Huntzberger's phone" I answer

"Logan, why are you answering Rory's phone?" An annoyed male says from the other end.

"Oh hey Jess, Ace is asleep we just got home from the hospital about 4 hours ago" I tell him.

"Hospital? Is the baby ok?" He asks with genuine concern.

"Baby is fine and so is Ace she was in a car accident on her way home from your meeting the other day." I tell him

"What and accident what happened?" He asks again and I rehash everything that happened including her injuries. As much as I don't like him he is always there for Ace and I put aside my feelings for my wife sake.

"Well after all of that I guess my news may need to wait." He says

"What news Jess?" I ask him

"About her book" he replies

"What about the book?" I ask getting excited for my love.

"Well I sent it off to a few of my connections at some bigger publishing houses and I have heard back from 3 of them all wanting to take a meeting with Rory." He tells me

"Oh my god that's amazing Jess can you let them know that it will be a few weeks before she will be able to take these meetings just because of her injuries and the pregnancy I don't want to risk her health." I tell him

"Sure that's fine Logan, just get Rory to call me when she is ready to set some of them up." He says back to me.

"Thanks a lot Jess, it means the world to Ace to get this book published. We will talk to you soon" I tell him

"Your welcome Logan and look after her she's special that one." He says as he hangs up the phone.

Just as I finish the call and then hear my name being called out and I walk back to the lounge where Ace is looking around for me.

"Where did you go?" She asks as she rubs the sleep away from her eyes and I tell her about the conversation I just had with Jess and as I tell her all about it I see almost the biggest smile ever come across her face.

"Three publishers want to publish my book?" She asks in shock.

"Yeah Ace they will meet with you when we are ready once you are healed enough to handle outings which is when the meetings and the furniture shopping will happen." I tell her as I shimmy across the couch and wrap my arms around her and she snuggles in as we sit back and watch 'Duck Soup'. We soon fall asleep on the couch together and lay there we do until the next morning when we hear a knock at the door.

Thank you all for waiting for this work has been crazy and just getting into a routine after my 8 weeks off for surgery has been tough I will have another chapter done in the next 2 days. I hope you all enjoy this and any feedback is appreciated.
