Emergency

Logan's POV

It all seemed to happen in slow motion we were making our way to the elevator when all of a sudden she went pale and then started to fall and the last thing she said was "Logan help."

I caught her before she hit the ground "Jess help me get her to the elevator and to my car down stairs I have to get her to the hospital." I say to him as I lift one side of her as Jess lifted her other side the elevator gets there quickly and we get downstairs to frank waiting there for us. We place Ace in the limo gently and I get in followed by Jess.

"Frank Lennox Hill now please." I yell and he pulls out from the kerb and within ten minutes we are outside the hospital emergency room.

Jess runs inside and gets a wheelchair to which we place Ace in and take her in quickly. "What's happened?" The nurse asks as we pull into reception.

"We were just leaving a meeting and going to the elevator when she passed out." I tell he quickly.

"How far along is she?" The nurse asks

"31 weeks" I reply as they wheel her away to one of the rooms to check her.

I then realise I need to call our families, I call Lorelai first as Ace would want her to know.

She answers "Logan what's going on?"

"It's Rory she fainted and is in hospital I knew I needed to tell you." I say to her and she gasps

"Which hospital?" She asks quickly

"Lennox Hill, we don't know what's wrong yet but as soon as I do I will let you know." I tell her

"Be there as soon as I can" she says and hangs up.

I next call dad.

"Logan why are you calling and not just coming to my office to see me?" He answers.

"Rory fainted as we were leaving the HPG publishing meeting we are at Lennox Hill waiting to hear back from the doctors. Just thought I would let you know" I tell him

"Anything you need just call Logan." He says as we finish our call and he hangs up.

I make one last call that is hard one.

"Logan what's going on?" He says as he answers

"It's Ace, she fainted after her meeting at HPG and we are now at Lennox Hill" I say with fear that only my best friends would hear.

"Our love is in hospital again? How is she going?" Finn asks after he hears what I said "Yes and we don't know what has happened she is still inside with the doctors." I say

"I will let the boys know and we will be there for you soon" he says as we finish the call.

I turn to Jess "You don't need to stay Jess. Thanks for being there for her when she needs it." I tell him.

"I have no where else to be so I don't mind staying you need someone and right now I am that person." He says to me and takes a seat in the waiting area.

I sit down too seeing as there is nothing else I can do.

"You still love here yeah?" I ask him and he looks at me with shock.

"Ummm yeah I guess, you should know better than anyone how hard it is to get over a Gilmore girl." He replies

"Yeah I know pretty damn impossible" I say with a chuckle.

We then sit and wait in silence. I don't know how much longer I can sit here not knowing.
We wait for feels like hours but would only have been 30 minutes.

"Rory Huntzberger?" Someone says and I look over to see a doctor looking around the waiting room.

I get up and walk over to him "I'm Logan Huntzberger, Rory's husband is she awake?" I gush out.

"She is awake, she fainted because she had a hypoglycaemic attack. Which means she had not eaten enough to keep her and the baby fuelled and she has low blood sugar. We are currently rectifying the situation and have her on some fluid via IV. You can follow me if you want to see her." He says and I follow him to Aces room where she lays and looks over at me with a small smile when she sees me "Logan" she breaths and I rush over to her and kiss her on the forehead. "Ace thank god you and Finn are alright" I say as I pull up the chair next to the bed.

"How could you forget to eat Ace?" I ask dumbfounded.

"I got carried away getting ready for the meeting it must have just slipped my mind." She says to me and I just shake my head.

While we sit and wait I message everyone so they know  that Ace is ok and sit back a relax until the doctors come back.

"Did the doctors say to you when you may be able to go home?" I ask

"No nothing to me. Who did you tell about me being here?" She asks me

"You mom, my dad and the boys and of course Jess is still outside if he didn't leave." I say to her and she pipes up "Jess still here? Can you get him please?" She asks and I walk out of the room down to the waiting area and get Jess for Ace.

We walk back and we go into her room. "Jess thanks for staying and being here." She says to him. "Nothing to thank me for your family after all" he replies.

They then start to talk between them about the two offers put on the table for the book. I excuse myself to look for a doctor I want my safe back home again. I find the doctors and they come with me to her room check her over and say I can take her home in a few hours.

I call Colin " hey man what's the news with mother is she going to be ok?" He asks and I hear shuffling in the background so I know Finn and Robert are with him too.

"Yeah she and Finn jr are fine she just suffered from a hypoglycaemic attack because she didn't eat and fainted. We are going to be home in like 3 hours." I tell him and he breaths out and I hear a whooping sound in the background from the others and I chuckle to myself.

"So I will give you guys a call when Ace is up for visitors at home and you can bring the girls." I say and we finish our phone call and I head back to aces room.

Her and Jess are still talking book deals as I walk in.

"What's the verdict darling?" She ask with some optimism.

"Home in a 3 hours." I tell her with a smile on my face and she lights up happy to be going home.

Over the next 3 hours nurse come and go removing her IV and checking her vitals until the doctor comes in with her discharge papers.

"Now Rory you need to eat regularly and rest up for the next couple of days till your body is fully recovered." He tells her and she nods in understanding, we sign the paperwork and I wheel her out to the car where frank is waiting as always. "Glad to see your alright Mrs Rory." He says as we approach the limo, "thanks frank" she replies as she gets into the car. 20 minutes later frank is pulling over outside our apartment building. We head inside and up to the penthouse.

I open the door and walk inside and I am in shock and awe.

There we have it another chapter thanks for your patience my birthday weekend was huge and I had the hangover from hell on Saturday so this is as soon as I could get it out. Hope you all enjoy this chapter.
