Shelby's POV
I don't know what's wrong with Max but he seems pretty shook up. I put my hand on his shoulder and say "hey!" But all he does is jump. I have no idea what those moms at the playground said to him but it must not be good. "How are you?" I ask making conversation. It's like we haven't seen each other in forever. "Fine" he says quick but slow. "Max what's up? Why are you so shaken?" I ask "what?" He answers "your super jumpy!" I reply "oh eh nothing. listen who was talking to you earlier?" He asks "when?" I reply "before you left to get me" he says "oh some random stra- wait how do you know?"

I feel bad for Shelby and Max but I gotta do what I gotta do. But if they find out who I am well I'll never be able to see them again! Imagine never seeing your best friend or cousin ever again. By know you have probably figure it out now but some will still be like "figured what out?" I'll fill those in. My name is Ross and I am the hooded figure. Why am I doing this? Well I can't tell you that! But what I can say is I won't stop until my plan is working which it is. This relationship was not ment to be. Max and Shelby were never ment to meet. If only Adam wasn't so desperate for a new editor Shelby would be well you know... With someone better. I knew Max before he worked at the office but I had never planned for Shelby and Max to meet. And now that they have there gonna wish they didn't. No one ever blames the squirrel!
