I woke up the following morning to Evan kissing the back of my neck softly.  “Good morning, gorgeous.”  He whispered as he wrapped his arm around me.  “We have a problem.”

“What’s that?”  I asked as I stretched and let out a big yawn before rolling around to face him.

“Well, for one, you need to stop doing that or you’re going to find yourself on the receiving end of this raging morning wood.”  I giggled.  “But the real problem is that you don’t have anything to wear today.  Think you’ll fit in any of my mom’s stuff?”  He offered.

“Oh my gosh, I can’t wear your mom’s clothes, Evan!  That’s so weird.  I’ll ask Kate to bring me something.  Oh wait, no, it’s game day.  We’re supposed to get a jersey form a guy when we get to school.  Can I wear yours?”

He started to laugh.  “Is that even a question?  Of course you can wear mine.”

“Oh, I guess it would make sense, wouldn’t it.”  I mumbled.  I grabbed my dress from the floor and went to pull it on but he quickly pulled it out of my hands and pounced on me.

Twenty minutes later I was in the shower scrubbing down while Evan contacted Kate about bringing me jeans to wear.  Thank god we were the same size.  I have practically been living out of her closet lately.  He was successful, and by the time I was out, he had jeans and ballet flats set out for me, along with his practice jersey.  I got dressed and went to meet him downstairs, where he was making breakfast.  Of course, Evan’s form of making breakfast was putting pop tarts in the toaster, but they were still delicious.  I drove the two of us to school, gladly holding his hand as we made our way there, and then again as we walked through the hallways.  He walked me to art, planting a sweet kiss on my forehead before leaving me to go to his own class.

“Ooooh, someone is glowing!”  Kate teased as I settled in next to her.  “You enjoy your sleepover?”

We were interrupted by our teacher greeting all of us and giving us a quick lesson for the day before having us work on our projects.

“Come on, what did he tell you this morning?”  I asked her, knowing damn well how persuasive she is and since she was left to her own devices this morning while I was in the shower, there was no way she didn’t get some details from him.

She laughed.  “Okay, yeah, he told me.  He was grinning like that creepy cat from Alice in Wonderland, it was so obvious.”
