You stand in one spot, pretending your feet are glued to this one special space. All of your senses are alert, you can feel the coolness of the wet sand beneath your feet, the relaxing breeze as it blows your hair out of your face and the tint of salt in the air rests lightly on your tongue. You gaze out over the early morning ocean. It's small gentle waves roll over your toes as if mother nature herself is giving you a massage. You look further and you can see the first rays of sunlight peeking over the horizon. Its golden rays projecting an unseen movie across the once gray clouds. you look straight up at the sky above you and see the last few stars twinkling their good-bye as the morning begins. The moon was slowly fading behind you in the warm light that surrounded you now. You close your eyes as the first wave brushes past your knees. It sinks back down, taunting you to follow it. You decide not to move. You are comfortable here because, for once, nobody cared anymore. You could stand here for hours and nobody would miss you, as if you never existed.
A strange hush covers the whole world as the water pulls away from you once again. The hush wasn't just an auditory one but covers up all your senses as one constant thing. You close your eyes and all you see is black. No mental light shows or memories being played over and over again like a broken record. The breeze also stops and your hair falls flat over your face. The water stills, Like a pond without fish.
The ocean refuses to move.

My Mind
Short StoryI'm basically writing stuff that pops into my mind- that makes sense anyway. Though I do have depression so that kinda the theme for this book- it's more of an outlet than anything, even if I am super happy from time to time.
