Alex and Hailey walked out of Hailey's room; with their moment put on pause it better had been important. Quick and Isabel were sitting in the room, both seemed tired from battle. Kute was sitting in the corner waiting for Hailey and Alex. After everyone was seated, Quick began to speak.
"After the events of recent we have gained a lot" Quick said in a callous tone
"G-Gained A lot?! What else must we sacrifice till we have won" Hailey says slamming her hands onto her lap
"Axe calm down" Alex says placing her hand on Hailey's shoulder
"N-No I will not, I lost my father and what else do I have to lose?!" tears swell up in Hailey's eyes
"Did you forget the one sitting next to you came home one day with all her brothers throats slit? Now calm down and listen to the debriefing" Kute said from behind them
Hailey then became quiet hugging Alex as an "I'm sorry" to her but Alex took it as a form of pity and didn't hug back. Kute was used to seeing these types of things; he just didn't want anything bad to happen to his team. He never had a family so this was the closest he was getting to one.
"Now I need you ready by tonight to leave for Sendrill the train leaves at five AM" Quick said
"Why a train Quick? You want us to get caught by synthiziods?" Isabel snarked at Quick
"because right now two reasons number one it's a freight train and we can hide easily two not much synthizoid activity is on a train Snake" Quick smiled at Isabel knowing he won
Kute nodded and looked at his room everything was still packed from when they first made that area their home. After the debriefing they went their separate ways into their rooms except Alex, she followed Kute to his room. Kute looked at her and with a sincere tone spoke.
"Im sorry if I hit a very touchy subject for you I just needed to calm the other half of you down" kute said calmly
"How did you know about that, when that happened no one was around?" Alex asked
"When you're a ghost your whole life you see things you weren't supposed to." Kute's tone changing
"What do you mean Soul?" Alex's tone turning a bit afraid when he said that
"I was there when your whole family was killed, I slaughtered many of the bastards that killed your family" Kute said clenching his hatchets
"You...........What?!" Alex's eyes widening
