Chapter 4: The Raid

       Alex smiles as she hears Quick give the okay to fire. She looks through her scope lining up a quick shot. She slowly places her finger on the trigger, breathing slowly. She slowly focused on a synthizoid, activating her special trick; she fired at the synthizoid's mortal spot.

The synthiziods body fell to the ground. The other synthiziods were alerted as the remains fell. Something seemed odd about these synthiziods, they have no weapons. They don't seem like they needed them. They also were taller than regular synthiziods.

Quick, Snake, One-shot and Axe jumped down from the top of the roof that they were on. The synthiziods began to run at them, the team stood back to back. This made sure no one would get struck from behind.

"Salva! Strike!" Quick said as he sped past two synthiziods slashing them in their necks.

"I wouldn't have said it better love!" Alex says switching from sniper to revolvers and firing.

As the bullets penetrate the synthetic skin of the synthiziods something happens, they are not falling. The bullets get pushed out of the holes as they seal up. The slashes Quick made on the two synthiziods had no effect either. Alex grunts angrily as this happens. She activates her trick again looking for mortal areas. She smiles and finds one and fires at the spot, she always was a good aim.

"Salva! Aim for the aorta in their synthetic hearts loves!"Alex says as she fires two more rounds into two synthiziods chests

Axe sent a strike towards the synthiziods chest. The attack made contact but something felt off again, the synthiziods arm began to morph into a blade like form. The synthizoid struck back at Axe, she stumbled a bit noticing it cut her face a bit on her left cheek. The blood ran down her face as she was able to strike once more in the chest. The synthizoid smacked Hailey's axe out of her hands, leaving her defenseless; she gets pushed back into a wall. Her eyes filled with terror.

One-shot had taken down every synthizoid that crossed her path. She looked towards Axe to see her progress. Simple curiosity turned into blood shot rage as she saw the synthiziods hand raised towards Axe. She fired at the synthizoid repeatedly. She wasn't stopping until the synthizoid fell dead in front of Axe's feet.

"Don't you dare raise a hand towards my love ever again!" One-shot said with tears in her eyes

The man transporting all the synthiziods was standing terrified. He began to flee; he ran a pretty good distance. He was about to make it when Kute stood in front of him with hatchets in hands.
