Chapter 6: Time is The Key to Healing

                   

Axe woke up in a tired state, not knowing where she was. She looked around the room was pink with a bunny pattern. It was her room; she didn't know how she got there all she knew was that she was there. She looked around stopping when she saw One-shot sleeping at the corner of her bed.

"A-Alex? y-you awake?" she says stroking One-shot's hair

Her long blonde hair, feeling soft and smooth, Axe liked the way it felt as she stroked it. Deadshot wasn't much of a girly girl but she looked adorable to Axe as she slept. She didn't tell Deadshot this but she had very deep emotions for her.

"mmmm" One-shot groans a bit as she sits up

"Morning Alex" she said with a slight smile

"L-Love you're awake!" One-shot said jumping on top of Axe

Axe smiled as One-shot flopped onto her. One-shot hugged Axe tightly as she cried tears of joy. One-shot might've been a flirt with everyone but she really did care for Axe the most. One-shot just thought that Axe would never go for her but she gave everything a shot at least once.

"H-How long have I been out?" Axe said calmly

"Three days I thought we lost you" One-shot said hugging Axe tightly

One-shot had to tell Axe about what happened that night and make her relive it all. Axe killed her own father. She didn't want to but for the removal of the Axis prime and Cross, it had to be done. No matter what if Cross and Axis were taken down people will be free again.

"You can't lose me....no matter what I'll always be with you" Axe smiles.

"T-Thank you love that means a lot" One-shot said wiping tears from her eyes.

"Now what happened the night I blacked out?" Axe asks Deadshot

"Eloy Helm was killed and what was left over wasn't pretty, his gun wasn't loaded when you two stood off, the bullet.....was in his palm" One-shot said looking at Axe

Axe remembered it all; she knew that no matter what a father wasn't going to kill his daughter. Tears began to swell up Axe's eyes; One-shot quickly pulled her into an embrace. Axe cried and cried till she had no more fluid in her body to give. She then looked into One-shot's eyes.

'I love you" Axe says in a calm tone

Axe then did something she had never done before; she kissed One-shot straight on the lips. One-shot was a bit taken back by this and her eyes were wide open but they slowly closed. This is what the two wanted, not anything else but this. Quick's voice can be heard on the intercom.
