Quick's eye was wide open as Isabel kissed him; she had never acted like this before. Well maybe she did but he never really noticed it. Feelings and he were never on the same page. He liked the way it felt, he slowly closed his eye. Then the two separate, Isabel is a dark shade of red.

"I really missed you" she said with tears in her eyes

"Hey, I'm not leaving anymore" He says hugging her tightly

"Thank you Marshall" she says while tears stream down her face

"Hey, who said you can flirt with me? I flirt with you know your role" Quick chuckles

"Shut up you idiot "she lightly pushes him while smiling

Quick smiles as this happens, he always wanted to take care of Isabel even before they were a team. He remembers that day perfectly, that was the day he remembered what happiness was again.

Pyrin, about four or five years ago, was still be invaded by Cross's forces. A dark skinned girl was sitting on top of the roof of a church, waiting quietly for her next strike. She relaxed her heart to ease herself.

A young boy was running from a pack of Synthiziods, he was paid to do this by the dark skinned girl. Her red eyes covered by her black and blue hair. She tightened her gauntlets and kissed the crescent moon on her gauntlet then jumped down.

She landed in front of the synthiziods, where she stood was a decent sized crater. She popped her neck and smiled happily as she stood firm in front of the pack.

"I'm gonna bash all your heads in!" She smiled

She was dressed in white tube top and black jeans. She wore a dark brown robe over it all. She was ready to kill them all.

The team began firing at the girl; she smiled as she hardened her skin. This action made bullets bounce off of her. She was able to pummel the whole pack in a matter of minutes.

She patted off dust off of her shoulder; she felt that was too easy. She threw the kid a small bag. It had Enol, the colonies form of currency.

"There's about fifteen Enol in there goodbye kiddo" She said walking off

The child had stayed with his winnings smiling. He has never seen this much Enol in one place before.

A synthizoid was still active and fired at the child. The boy closed his eyes; he was waiting to die at this very moment. An odd thing happened; Death didn't come for the child.

The girl stood in front of the child, she was shot straight through the lower gut. She didn't have time to harden her skin, now she was in pain.

The synthizoid aimed towards the two again and fired. The shot rang through all of Pyrin that day.
