Aussies POV
I sat in my room pacing, debating on telling derek about my cutting. What if he tells my dad? What if he kicks me away? What of he gets depressed? I smacked myself mentally when I heard a soft knocking on the door.
'HANG ON ' I yelled throwing the blade in my bathroom tub and sitting on the bed zipping my hoodie.
'S'its Open!' I yelled after a minute. Derek walked in with a small box with purple ribbon on the lid. He held it out to me and I took it, almost dropping it because it's heavier than expected.
'What's this?' I asked him, then saw a small smirk spread on his face. 'Open it!! Before s- I mean it makes noises!!' Noises? Is he on drugs again? Just then a small whimper came from the box. I spend it to find a small puppy there with a note attached to the lid.

I lifted her out of the box and set thn her on the bed throwing the box a side and leaning over the puppy. I then look over at Derek, who's smiling like an idiot. His lip is twitching. Ok austin. Grow some balls. Kiss him. He wants you to.
I looked over at him and sat on his lap, bringing myself closer to him because man wsd sn he tall, even sitting he's really fucking tall. 'Derek? Can I do something without you flipping out?' He nodded. Ok here I go. I leaned up and kissed him, hesitating on keeping it going. After he hesitated hr started kissing back.
DEREK POV
After I had nodded at Austin's question I felt his lips come to mine. Woah. I hesitated on kissing back bit thought fuck it and kissed back. After a minute or two I pulled away and looked at him, his blush as bad as mine. The puppy coming up onto Aussies lap.
'So...what are we now..?' He asked me. 'Boyfriend?' What about my dad?!? Just then he got a message
Ronnie- hey champ, how's dereks house? I'll be back in about 15 minutes.
Aussie- hey dad. We're watching a movie. And I got a new puppy! She's adorable!!
Ronnie- make sure she's house trained young man.
Aussie - yes dad.
And with that He looked back at me. 'Yes, but we cannot tell my dad yet. Got that?'
'Promise!' I squealed loudly. His dad was pounding on the door. 'Uh oh. The parental are here!! Run!!'he yelled joking. 'C'mon kid let's go!' I joked. He nodded and got up bringing the dog with him.
'What are we gonna name her?' He asked me. 'How about Spade?' I asked she looks like she's got a spade made out on her fur. 'I love it. Spade it is!' nice going Jones. I smirked at myself.
After Aussies dad left again me and Aussie went to my room and cuddled falling asleep.
