Evelyn's POV
My alarm clock was blaring in my ears all I wanted was to go back to sleep I finally dragged my self out of bed.

I start to look through my closet I get out a sweatshirt and pair of old jeans with my high top all stars.There was no use of looking good today I didn't even put on my makeup.

I walk into my brothers room pick out his clothes wake him up which was not easy considering he didn't wanna get up either Colton get up Liam's gonna be waiting for you over at his house for breakfast.That made him get up .

We pretty much live over at the Gallagher house we just sleep here.

Once he gets dressed we both grab are stuff for school and start to head over next door.

Kev and V we're already there they all had coffee talking to Fiona on the couch,kev looks at the time .He kisses V goodbye he sees me and colt and says"hey Evey and Colt by Evey and Colt "he says while walking out the door.

I don't know if I ever mentioned them. But yeah there are neighbors who live 3 houses down from us Kevin and Veronica but we just called and Kev and V.

Anyway Fiona hands me and Colt a bowl a wave my arm and say "I only need one for him I'm not hungry "

She nods and they both leave she sits at the head of the table drinking her coffee and looking at something on her phone she says something about real estate .

Me and Debbie nod along to what she's saying neither one of us really understand though.

Carl walks down stairs we both look at each other panicked because usually Carl comes down when we're walking out .

We looked at the time he was actually down stairs at a decent time.We all just startled at him in disbelief

"why are you all looking at me"he spit out.

Debbie broke the silence first "usually we're still yelling at you to get out of bed " me and Fiona just kinda nodded in agreement.

"what I just can't be on time with all of you tripping "

Fiona scoffed at his words and replied back with a "no ones tripping"she mocked his words " just shocked you got up on time"

all I could think to myself was yeah right that will last like a week .

Debbie looks at her phone and jumps up and grabs her stuff "hurry up guys were about to be late ".Me and Carl grab our stuff and rush out the door behind Debbie.

Carl locks the house and we all start to walk to the school.

Me and Debbie both talk and then eventually we both close are lockers and go to our first period.I walk in to Mr.Lukas room I go sit down I notice Carl wasn't here yet he's probably gonna show up late like he always does .

The bell rings Carl's still not here not a shocker .Carl was only 5 minutes late today better than yesterday.

Mr.Lukas is not happy with Carl showing up late again . "Gallagher you have detention today in sick and tired of you being late "

Carl not even listening he just walks back and sits beside me in his seat.

"Did you hear me !"Mr.Lukas yells

"yes!" Carl yells back .

I just laughed "oh you want detention to Mrs.Jones" He yells at me.

I look at him in disbelief that he really just gave me detention "no I don't Mr.Lukas" I say really annoyed I've never really back talked a teacher but I mean he had no right all I did was laugh.

"ok is settled Mr.Gallagher Mrs.Jones you better make it to detention " he looks at me and to Carl "on time " he finally says.

The rest of the class I was so mad it was Friday and I have detention are you kidding me.

The rest of the day flies by I'm at my locker talking to Debbie

"Mrs.Jones shouldn't you be in detention " Carl said in his best impersonation of Mr.Lukas .

"Fuck I forgot about that"I say

"what did you get detention for" Debbie says

"laughing at this idiot over here"I say pointing at Carl.

"Wow let me guess you got detention too"she says looking at Carl

"yeppe"he says smiling at Debbie.

"Debs can you watch Colt please " I say to her

"yeah it not like he's not gonna be over there any way" she laughs "well bye you two unlike you all I don't have detention and I don't have to sit here" she says as she starts walking out of the school.

"I hate you for making me have to do this "is all I say to Carl

"how's it my fault I didn't make you laugh " he squeezed my arm after he said it.

"Yeah but you should have seen your face when you yelled back at him"I say laughing at the thought.

"It was funny " he says as we walk in the room .
