So this is probably the fastest that I've written to get to chapter 3. My other books took me forever to get here, So I hope you liked it so far. :)

I sit in the hall as if I've been called to the principals office for doing some prank. Which I did, except it wasn't a prank. I can't recall all of those people's faces, it all seesm so bizarre. I do remember, though, the pure rage coming from Headmaster Coach Tyler. I was seriously terrified! I wasn't thinking about the possibilty of him being mad. I was thinking more along the likes of impressed or worship-worthiness. Okay, so maybe not that last one so much. But I was defenitely not thinking mad.
My dad stopped him from doing anything crazy in front of those people, like screaming like a banshee at me, like he is right now but at my dad. Man, I really did it, but with the results of no return. There is no way, no way at all, that a disobedient child like myself could possibly be accepted into a school like this, let alone play soccer. At least, thats what Coach Tyler thinks. From all the other polayers looks when I was walking away, they really wanted me, and not just because I'm a girl, but because I can seriously play. Except for Gabriel, who I think hates me. Alot.
I suddenly hear silence, and look towards the door. I can't see or hear anything, so I lean closer, sitting on the edge of the umcomfortable chair meant for torture. All of a sudden, the door opens, scaring me so much I let out a weird sounding yelp and fell flat on my butt. Headmaster Tyler stood there, menacing as ever, staring down at me as if I'm some disgusting little insect crawling in his private bubble.
"As you have heard from your easedroppping, you certainly are not accepted to Croation High for you foolishness. No matter how exceptional you are at playing soccer, I will not have any child pranking and disobeying down these halls! Now, if you will excuse me, I have important matters to attend to."
As he walks away, Dad comes out, looking like he aged 20 years, with wrinkles and all. He plunks his butt down in the uncomfortable chair and finally looks at me with dissapointment in his eyes. I finally feel ashamed for what I did.
"I'm just going to rest here for a few minutes. Go on out to the car and wait for me there, okay, Sweetie?"
I nod, pushing myself off of the floor. I can't even llok my own father in the eye, thats how dejected I feel from his dissapointment. I start walking down the hall, wanting to go die in a hole. Okay, not literally. But I seriously feel horrible, enough that I think I don't ever want to see another person who saw me play. And knowing my luck, that's exactly whats going to happen. No more than when I think it, I round the corner of a hall and ram straight into someone.
"Hey, watch where your going!"
I look up as I say that, and stop short from saying any more. I look into the sea-blue eyes of the camera guy on the field. Now that I look even closer, he looks more LIKE Gabriel than I thought. They both have the same pitcch plack, glossy curls, except Gabriel has his cut to about an inch where this guy has his grown out more. It hits the bottom of his earlobes, almost to his chin now. They both have the same chin, and high cheekbones. The only difference I see is the eyes. The sea-blue eyes, with the beautiful green flecks.
"Oh, hey, your the guy who was video-taping my performance out on the field," I say.
"Yeah! Dude, you were amazing. I honestly have not seen another girl play like that before. Not that there's anything wrong with a girl playing soccer. I was just on my way to see Coach Tyler to see if he would even consider letting you on the team --"
"Don't even try," I say, grimacing. "My dad and I just got done with talking to him. Actually, my dad was. I was sitting out in the hall like some troubled student."
