As I walk out of Whataburger, I see a group of guys get up and start to walk out as well.

Maybe they just got done eating, too, I thought to myself.

I continue walking. I walk on the sidewalk on the way back to the college. I thought about this morning and the messages. The sound of my phone interrupts my thoughts. I check my phone. It's an unknown number. I read the text.

Hey, babygirl, why are you walking alone for? -JM

The message creeped me out a little. How does this person know I'm walking? What the fuck? I might be going crazy. I continue walking and then I see a van slowly trailing across the road from me. I don't think much of it at first, but after 15 minutes of the van following me, I get scared. I walk faster and break into a jog. The van speeds up a little.

Shit, shit, shit, dammit man wtf, my mind screams at me.

I break into a full sprint and the van speeds up and is chasing me. I come up on an alley and turn there, hoping I would lose them. I run into the woods and hide there. I get another text. I check my phone again and it was the unknown number again.

It would be best if you didn't run from me, babygirl, because I know where you are. -JM

I get up quickly and try to run, but I all of a sudden collide into someone with a ski mask on. I kick the person in the nuts and run until someone grabs me from behind. I struggle and squirm as I'm being pulled backwards.

I try to scream for help, but then I see another figure in front of me. The figure slaps me hard. Then I feel a cloth go over my mouth. I try to squirm, but I start to feel weak. The last words I hear before I black out are, "Sweet dreams, babygirl."

Then everything goes black.
