8. I missed you!

Hiccup's POV:

Astrid followed by my other friends came into my house. Astrid sat beside me in the bench and the others crowded around. My dad was there too. He stood beside Heather.
"I love Snotlout. Not you. You need to know that!" Astrid said.

"Hiccup let it go!" Dad said softly to me.
"No! Stop with that! And stop with THAT!" I snapped to see that she was holding Snotlout's hand.

"Astrid, I fell in love with on a romantic flight that I took you on! You made me not afraid to be me! You get into trouble trying to protect us and I get you out of it! We may not be boyfriend and girlfriend but I love you! I need you to remember that!"

"I'm sorry Hiccup...I just don't remember that. This is me. There's nothing you can do about it! This is me. The old Astrid is gone." Astrid told me.

"Then Come back! We need you! Astrid I NEED you!" I said to her now beginning to cry a slight bit. A few tears ran down my cheeks. I then decided to go with my crazy, insane plan from the beginning. I had to give it a shot.

So I did.

I leaned in...I pulled her close and I kissed her. It was long and passionate. Like no kiss we had before. At first she was startled, then she melted into it. Our friends just smiled at us. So did my dad. Astrid kept kissing me. It was about a 7 second kiss before we separated.

Astrid then got up.
"You're Heather my best friend! You're Fishlegs you're the smarted guy there is! You're Tuffnut, you're the best prankster that ever lived. You're Ruffnut you're the best detective and trickster on Berk." Astrid beagn. She turned to me Stoick and Snotlout.

"Your Stoick. Your the chief and you love me like a daughter. And Snotlout you are AWFUL! You love me no mater how mean I am to you. Your a great friend." She said. Then she turned to me. I smiled. Astrid got all teary.

"And your Hiccup!"
"I am."
"And we're best friends!" Astrid said as a tear fell.
"We are!" I said as a tear fell down my face too.

"You took me on a flight when we were 15 and I fell In love with you! I love you and you love me! Hiccup, even if we're not boyfriend and girlfriend, nobody could ever love me more than I love you! My heart belongs to you! I'm taken!" Astrid said.
"I love you too!"

We then hugged and kissed. Tears falling down both of our faces. My Friends just smiled and clapped.
"Come here." Astrid said to the group. We had a huge group hug around her.

Astrid was back!
"I love you guys." Astrid said to them. They broke up the group hug.
"We love you. We missed you!" Tuffnut said to her.

Snotlout did amazing with this. He felt guilty and he ended up chasing her to me. I looked over at Snotlout. He looked a little sad, but yet happy. When everybody left, I told Snotlout to stay behind. He came up to my room.

"Okay what's going on?" I asked Snotlout. He sighed and sat down.
"It's just...I don't think I'll ever find someone to love me. And when someone did I didn't want it to end. It's stupid I know." Snotlout said to me.

"Snotlout it's not stupid. I never thought anyone could love me. I was a complete Outcast remember? Then-" I began. Snotlout interrupted me.
"Then Astrid gave you a chance I know."

I looked at him and chuckled.
"No actually. We grabbed her when she was running, dangled her from a tree, and told her to get on Toothless or it's a long way down!she didn't have a choice. But only when she was on him did she give me a chance."

Snotlout smiled.
"Yeah...I guess your right. Your one lucky man." Snotlout told me patting me on the back.
"I am. And I know you'll find love."
