Say Something (Maka x Soul)

Broken

Maka looked at the floor and started to cry. She regretted everything she had just said and want to take it all back. But she couldn't, she couldn't change the past.

"He doesn't feel the same way..." she thought, "He doesn't want to be partners anymore...he wants me out of his life".

Maka covered her eyes trying to hide that she was crying even though she was failing miserably. Soul wrapped his arms around her trying to comfort her. He whispered soft words to her which calmed her down a little but not by much. Maka buried her face into Soul's chest as more tears rolled down her face. Soul rubbed her back in another attempt to soothe her.

"I just can't believe you have feelings...for me..." said Soul

"I have had feeling for you for a while" Maka said still sniffing.

"But you don't feel the same..."Maka thought.

"I read your diary...I wanted to stop reading it and forget about it...but I couldn't" Soul said trying to reassure her.

    Soul looked at Maka with pain in his eyes. Soul felt guilty like he had just committed a crime. That is if it was illegal to emotionally hurt your meister on accident. But part of Soul wanted to tell her...his feelings.
