The boy with the too big heart,
Loved a girl with a too big temper.
Everything he loved about her
Was short -
Her hair,
Her legs,
Her fuse.
He believed the ocean
Was trapped in her mind,
Causing a big commotion,
That she didn't find kind.
He liked this girl so much,
That he traded his heart for hers,
But she hesitated to take it,
And love it like he did.
And the boy with the too big heart tried
But she turned him away
With each small stride.
But one day she gave in,
And called out his name,
But the boy had given up,
And found another to claim.

The boy with the too big heart,
Fell for a girl,
With a too big an ego.
Everything he loved about her was big,
Her eyes,
Her thighs,
And her self-esteem.
He believed a cyclone,
Was trapped in her mind,
Tearing every piece of sanity,
They both sought to find.
He loved this girl so much,
That he traded his heart for hers,
But this girl she took it,
Only to rip to shreds.
And the boy with the too big heart tried,
He tried to pull away,
But he was caught in her trap,
Like a spiders prey.
Until one day she found a new toy,
To chew and rip as her own,
And the boy was left broken,
With his torn heart instead.
~
The boy with the too big heart,
Fell once again,
For a girl,
With too open a mind.
Everything he loved about her was wide:
Her mind,
Her heart,
Her books,
He believed a forest
Was trapped in her rib cage,
Twisting and pulling,
At everything she gave.
He loved this girl so much,
That he traded his heart for hers,
And this girl she took it,
And treated it as her world.
And the boy with too big a heart stayed,
With this girl with the open mind,
And she stayed with him,
Until the end of time.
And then one day they married,
And had a kid,
Who had too big a heart,
And too big a head.
