chapter 8

Third person P.O.V.

"Hahahahaha" Talon leaned back with laughter with his hand over his face "oh gods no he died a long time ago, after all weren't you the fools that killed him."

The gods flinched slightly at the dead look in his eye when he said that. Just when Zeus was about to say something Talon disappeared, no piller of flames or shadows covering  him or even a flash of light he was just gone. "Where did he go? We need him to fight in this new war for us." Zeus asked the other gods.

"Why would I do that?" Talon was standing on top of the throne of Zeus "after you left me in that hell, after you took everything from me. After you took everyone from me. That's right I know what you did. I've been to both camps I know what you bastards did to all of them." He was yelling at the end making Zeus stand and take a step back.

"Percy you don't understand how they were when you were lost they couldn't function any more both camps were on the verge of collapse we had to do that to save them all from themselves please don't be mad at us for that." Hestia pleaded with him.

Talon seemed to glare down at them from where he was standing before he vanished again. Then there was a surprised yelp and everyone turned to look at Talon draped over Hestia's back and a big grin on his face. "I know I wanted to thank you for saving them I was shown how bad the camps were  and what you did while I was down there before I got out with thanatos's help. So, thank you." He said softly then kissed her on the nose before jumping back off of a blushing Hestia.

"What happened to you down there why are you like this son what happened to the old you?" Poseidon asked his son.

"Well I am sure that someone that specializes in me will be able to tell you."

All the gods looked a little confused before Dionysus stood up and said "he is clearly insane and one of my domains is insanity so I will look over him alright, let's just get this over with so I can get some sleep." He walked up to Talon and placed both hands on his head and closed his eyes looking through Talon's memories.

Dionysus took a couple steps back and his eyes snapped open "h-how... is that possible... You poor soul."

"Don't pity me can't you see that in perfectly fine after what I've been through hahaha."

"Is he alright enough to fight for us."when Zeus said that thanatos's squinted his eyes shut and pinched his nose with a sigh.

A dark force seemed to start
eminating from Talon and the gods couldn't help but be frozen in their thrones. Talon took a step forward and shadows poured out from behind him. He reached up to his face and made a claw like motion down his face. His mask materialized onto his face but it wasn't the solid silver piece this time it seemed darked and had some small cracks in it and the largest one that ran all the way across it snapped open into a jagged smile. Talons dark aura seemed to start condensing into him slowly a shadowy shape started forming around him. Thanatos quickly jumped back a little and snapped his fingers and four flashes of light introduced other hooded figures that were dressed similar to Talon. By this time Talon was completely covered in the shadows but it felt off to all the all the gods. The figure before them didn't resemble talon any more the horns protruding from the top of his head his new height of 7 and a half feet and the dark claws that replaced his fingers. The shadows licked off of his shoulders like black flames. The four new people and Thanatos all held their right hand in front of their face with two fingers up and their left hand out towards Talon. "Five pillar binding, fourth seal break. Second configuration." They all chanted together.

Everyone else in the throne room was shocked or surprised when five pillars that looked to be made out of obsidian fell from nowhere all landing around the shadow covered Talon. White strips of cloth started winding themselves around the pillars. Talon dashed forward with blinding speed only a couple of the gods could even see the dark blur as it  dashed towards them. But as soon as it touched the cloth in-between the pillars it got blown back and slammed into one of the pillars on the other side. "Power sealing level 10, bindings of the void." Another chant came from Thanatos and the others each placed a hand on one of the pillars.

From the pillars came a tendril of soft while light slowly extending moving around as if searching for something. Just before one touched Talon he dashed to the side and grabbed it. It instantly started wrapping around his arm and pulling him back to its pillar. The other four tendrils quickly started for the struggling form of Talon. Talon dug his feet into the floor cracking it and yanked the arm that was bound the hooded figure on the pillar was pulled into it, his face slamming against it with a yelp of pain he fell back, the the light from that pillar faded away freeing Talon.

Before he could move though all the other tendrils wrapped around his arms and legs. The shadows around him seemed to get lighter. The man that fell stood up his hood falling off he looked about 19 or 20 years old and had bright red hair, sky blue eyes, and an old scar across his now bloody nose. He slapped his hand onto his pillar and the final tendril wrapped round talons neck. "SEAL." They all shouted at once.

The cloth that was wrapped around the pillars started making their way down the beams of light wrapped around Talon, and slowly started wrapping him up. They wrapped around him until only one eye was visible. He fell to his knees and slumped down but one of the did figures caught him before he could hit the ground. Another turned around to face the stunned gods. "Who did this? Who was stupid enough to make him lose controle like that?" A female voice demanded.

"Easy, Angel they didn't mean to. We had it under controle." The red haired man said.

"He is waking up."

Talon rose unsteadily to his feet an learned on the person next to him. With his one visible eye he looked Zeus in the eye. "I will not fight for you again not after you took them from me. You will fight this war on your own."

"If you are not on our side, then you are a possible enemy you must be taken out now. I do this for the fate of Olympus." Zeus declared.

"Hahaha hats off to you if you can find me first. Tell me this, can you even tell if I was here to begin with, or was in your head hahaha." As he said that he slowly faded away his last laugh came from every shadow and faded into nothing.

Zeus looked to Artemis "find him NOW. Bring me his head. He will pay for that disrespect."
