Third person P.O.V.
The silence dominated the room. "Well you didn't really die per say, you were immortal at the time so you reformed in Tartarus. I just help you out." Talon said as he turned away.
"No that can't be, I don't remember that, anything like that." Annabeth insisted shaking her head.
"Well it was your second time there you were starting to go a bit insane so I had to take the memory away." He explained like it was the most obvious thing ever. "And poof you were back to the world of the living with no memory that you were there."
Annabeth just bit her lip as she held her sword. She couldn't argue with him, she knew that she wouldn't be OK if she went there a second time.
She was about to reply when an Iris message popped up in front of her. An image of Chiron appeared "Annabeth there you are we have been trying to reach you for a while."
"What, why?" She replied.
"A few demigods returned from a quest about an hour ago with news that a large army of monsters was close behind them. They will be on the camp any minute now we need you and the hunters back here as soon as possible." Chiron explained in a rushed voice.
"Very well I will flash is there as soon as I can." Artemis replied and swiped her hand through the message.
Talon stepped to the side and slightly bowed his head "we can finish this another time."
"Can't you come help us?" Thalia asked him.
He glanced over at her and have a small grin "well I have not been offered a contract, and to help defend a objective is a very costly contract that must be set up at least 48 hours in advance. Also since Zeus annoyed me the price will be even higher for those with ties to Olympus."
Artemis glared at him but held her tongue. Instead she told the ones that were still awake to get ready to leave.
Everyone who had passed out were quickly woken up and they all made there way outside. Annabeth turned back to catch talons gaze one last time before she went down the hallway to the surface. She couldn't shake the fact that she knew him from somewhere.
As they all reached the ruins at the top of the stairs Artemis instructed then to all grab hands so she could flash them to camp. After they all grasped hands they closed their eyes ready for the goddess to take them to camp.
After the flash died down they heard the roars of the monsters at the base of the hill while the campers lined up by Thalia's tree. "Hhmm I wonder why they aren't charging yet." Artemis jump as Talon said that right beside her.
"Why are you here? I thought you weren't going to help." Jason asked.
"Yep." Talon replied popping the 'p' "I'm not going to help. I just saw a perfect opportunity to test my newest member. While also gaining a favour from an Olympian, that might come in handy later." He said winking at Jason.
Three cloaked figures walked up to talons side. The tallest one stepped in front of Talon and took down his hood. He stood almost two feet above Talon so he had to look down. "Ishi, I want to see the full extent of your power. Therefore for this battle, and this battle only, I will supply you with all the energy you need." Talon said in a very calm voice.
Another cloaked figure reached up and placed a slender hand on talons shoulder. Annabeth saw this and felt a strange feeling in her stomach. While she wondered over what that feeling was Ishi walked out in middle of the two armies. Talon sat down cross-legged and placed both hands on the ground. Artemis could see the faint green aura come off of his hands and go into the ground, she also saw the same aura snake its way up the large figure in between the armies.
The female, who was Angel, sat down next to Talon and gently leaned against him while the other cloaked figure good down his hood showing his bright red hair and the scare across his nose, leaned against a tree. The monsters got tired of waiting and started to charge the lone man in front of them. Ishi calmly took out a giant mace from under his cloak and held it ready with both hands.
When the first hell hound got close enough Ishi brought down his mace in an over head swing right into the monsters head. The swing continued through smashing into the ground, spikes of stone shot out of the ground within a surrounding 100 ft radius stabbing into other monsters causing them to burst into golden dust. Everyone was stunned, frozen into place.
The monsters shook out of their stupor and charged the man again. Ishi sung his mace to the side this time causing a shockwave to ripple through the ground tripping the charging monsters. "Greek monsters are so simple this is hardly a test." The red head complained.
"All monsters monsters are easy it's the demons that are tricky" Angel replied "and Dante we are testing his combat power not his brains."
Dante snorted "doesn't look like he would pass that test."
"Peace Dante, the earth is calm and steady not stupid, try not to judge others so quickly or you may end up underestimating them." Talon scolded him.
"Of course Talon" Dante replied with a nod off his head.
Ishi had taken a small moment to place a hand on the ground while the monsters retreated a little. He pulled up a large stone and brought it close to his face. Dante straitened up from the tree and everyone could see the surprise on his face. He stared at Ishi as he tossed the stone in front of him. Everyone watched the stone for a moment waiting for something to happen. Suddenly another some jumped up from the ground and bonded over to it. Then another and another until there stood a man shaped figure made out of rocks.
"A golem, it's to soon even with your help he shouldn't know how to make one!" Dante exclaimed "we can't trust him talon."
Talon just sat there quietly. "Do you honestly think Talon would pick some one that might betray us?" Angel snapped at him
"What no that's not what i... Never mind I have a nest to clear, I'm leaving." When Talon didn't say anything he vanished in a small pillar of flame.
Talon's eyes snapped open suddenly. "Things are about to get interesting." He said with an evil smile on his lips.
