Present day
Annabeth P.O.V.

My eyes went wide as I stared into the barrel of the gun in front of us. As he rambled off about how he knew we were coming and that he prepared so we wouldn't take his cloaks, I glanced over at Ciel but she seemed completely relaxed. Though I did see her finger twitch towards her back for a second, I suspected she had a weapon hidden back there. Suddenly Talon ran into one of the hallways and we heard a door slam shut. Lady Artemis looked over at Ciel with a questioning look. "Don't worry he will be back I will talk to him there." She said.

The other man was just chuckling behind the bar mixing up a drink. "Hey swamp breath introduce yourself." Ciel snapped at him.

"Oh of course where are my manners?" He said as he came out from behind the bar, with a small bow he said "Vody Is the name. Call me anything else however and I will probably kill you."

He walked back to the bar and sipped on his drink as Ciel just rolled her eyes. Talon ran back out of the hallway laughing "Hahaha you will never be able to get my cloaks now hahaha never!"

"Talon they are not after your cloaks. If you would shut up and listen for a damn minute you would know they have a contract for you." Ciel yelled at him on her toes holding her arms behind her.

He just stood there staring at her. "Oh." He stood up and straitened the cloak he had on "well alright then you should have just said so." He turned and took a couple steps to the couch before turning back again. "On a completely unrelated note we need to get ahold of Thanatos to get a couple more spare cloaks, for everyone."

Ciel's yes went wide "everyone's... Even mine?" She said in a deadly whisper, at this point Vody went and hid behind the bar "Talon what did you do!?"

"What! Nothing!" He said incredulously. A moment later the whole room shook as an explosion went off down the hallway where he came from.

After the last of the dust that was shaken from the ceiling cleared he suddenly flinched. "Oh dear lord my room is on fire" he said before running back down the hallway that I could see the light of a fire on the walls.

Ciel was fumming but she turned to us with a look of defeat on her face. She gestured to a couple couches closer to the bar. "Go ahead and have a seat it might be a while."

We all walked over and sat down except for a few like Thalia and Lady Artemis who stood against the wall talking quietly. As I was focusing trying to hear what they were saying another explosion made us all flinch. Talon flew out of the hallway and rebounded off the wall with a sickening crunch. Vody quietly walked over and nudged Talon with his foot. With a grunt Talon reached up and flipped him off. With a chuckle Vody walked down the hallway with a "quick I'll get it."

Talon rolled over and sat up with a grunt "I forgot about that one..." then Piper gave out a loud scream and passed out. I couldn't take my eyes off of Talon though. His whole left arm was nothing but blackened bone. As he stood up he seemed to notice it and brought it up to his face. He grinned crazily and looked over at us wiggling his finger bones. That was to much for several hunters as they passed out around me even Lady Artemis seemed a bit green. "Oh the best part is coming, it's about to heal."

Then to my horror the bone turned back white. Muscle started snaking its way down from his shoulder. Wrapping around the bone all the way past his elbow to his fingers. Finally it stopped but I felt bile in the back of my throat as there wasn't any skin only the muscle and tendons. Finally skin started growing from the muscle until it was back to its former state. He flexed his hand a couple times testing it out.

Vody came back out at looked at Talon "wait did your arm get blown off?" When Talon nodded he groaned "ah man I missed it growing back it's so nasty but so cool damn it."

Talon just grinned and looked over at all the people that passes out. Only a few hunters were still awake but holding their stomachs or their hands over their mouths. When his eyes met mind his grin left his face and his eyes went wide. I thought I saw a bit of fear in them as well but it was gone so fast I must have imagined it. "Annabeth Chase." He said softly "it's good to see you again."

He stepped forward and out of the corner of my eye I saw Lady Artemis stand up strait and grasp the handle to one of her hunting daggers. Talon reached under his cloak and grabbed something. The sound of a sword leaving it's sheath made Artemis lung forward. Only to be stopped in her tracks by a glare from Talon. He stared her down until she backed against the wall again sweat dripping down her face. Even I could feel the killing intent and deadly aura coming from him before he turned back to me all of it just gone.

He continued drawing the weapon from his back until o could see the blade seemed to be made of bone. Wait that's my drakon bone sword. I stared at it as he suddenly flipped it in the air grabbing it by its point presenting the handle towards me. I reached out and grabbed it "how did you get this I lost it months ago?"

"I recived this blade as payment." He said to me.

"Payment for what. I never hired you before why would you have my sword." I snapped at him getting defensive.

"I recived this blade as payment. Payment for saving for life." He said causing a few more flashes of something I couldn't see them but I did see him with tears in his eyes.

He looked at me as I shook my head trying to get the images out of my head. "It seems your starting to remember."

"Remember what? Why do I know your face? Where have I seen you before?" I ask confused

"Your remembering the day you died."
