"Anna?" I walked into her room just to find it empty. Had she got up already? That didn't sound like my friend, the sleepyhead. I knocked on the bathroom door and found out she wasn't there.

Downstairs I walked from room to room. "Anna?"

Stefan came down and wondered what was going on.

"Have you seen Anna?" I looked at him, but he just shook his head. He tried to help me look but neither of us found her.
Damon and Elena showed up as well, but no matter how much we looked, she was nowhere to be found.

Now I started to worry, pulled out my iphone and dialled her number.

No response.

I just looked silently at Damon and he came close and pulled me into his arms. "Where did she go?" My tears started to trickle. "Something has happened!"

He comforted me. "We'll find her! You must trust us, we will find her!"

I kept dialling her phone, but got no replies.

"Wait a minute; Klaus thought she was somebody else." It was such an aha-experience.

The others looked baffled.
"What do you mean?" Stefan asked and I tried to tell about it like I had experienced it.

"He definitely thought she was somebody else..."

"... Maybe she reminded him of someone?" Elena said. "I have some experience in that area," she added a little bitter and we looked at her with quizzical faces.

"Could she really?"

"Well I never realised I was a doppelganger..."

"But who? And who would know... more than Klaus..."

"Elijah," someone said.

"Rebekah," somebody else suggested at the same time.

I immediately pulled out my phone and called Rebekah.

"Just come in!" Damon growled a split second before I heard a knock on the door. The door opened and a smiling Rebekah entered.

"Becca!" I exclaimed, hurried to her and threw my arms around her.

"Em, what's the matter?" her tone was really worried as she hugged me. "What happened?"

I tried to explain the whole story, that my friend had showed up and that her brother had freaked out. "And now she's gone! I'm really worried something has happened to her."

We looked around and saw Stefan and Elena watching us intensely. I wondered once again what had happened during those episo... sorry weeks I had missed.

"He acted weird, you say? In what way?" she wanted to know and I of course told her.

"It was like he recognised her," I said once again.

"Ehrm... who is she? And what does she look like?"

I tried to describe her, the best I could. I told Rebekah about how I had known Anna since sixth grade and we had stuck together all through high school. She had stayed in Sweden and studied architecture when I had gone to Oxford and met Rebekah.

She smiled a little at the memory of our past and so did I, but then she urged me to continue.

"Anna is a gorgeous strawberry blond girl with straight hair and green eyes." I tried to describe her around the same height as me and Rebekah, a little longer than Elena.

Rebekah all of a sudden got a little worried look, with furrowed eyebrows, squeezed tight together.
"Do you have a picture of her?"

"Ehrm, yes..." I pulled out my iphone and started to look at the pictures. "Here's one!" I said when I found one from our holiday in Turkey a year ago. I showed it to Rebekah and she immediately lost all colour in her face and her mouth fell open.

"Annora..." she whispered under her breath and left instantaneously.

We better find out what has happened to Anna. Has she magically disappeared like Emma did?
