Toadtown Season 2

15. Blown Away

It was a cloudy morning in Toadtown and today was the day of the boat tours at Toadsdale Harbour. Toadsdale Harbour was just down the coast from Toadtown. Even though the town was just about 5-7 Miles away the journey by car was longer.

Due to the fact you had to head up on the Toadsburg Road to get the Coastal Road. Today Peach, Toadette, Toad, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Birdo, Toadsworth and Daisy were going to the Boat Show. At the castle Peach was boarding the limo and Toad got in the drivers seat and turned on the AC.

"We better hurry or we might be late" said Toadette.

Daisy and Birdo climbed in and Mario and Luigi were enjoying there drinks when Toadsworth came out with a brochure for the Boat Show. Soon on the road the limo was rushing to get to Toadsdale Harbour.

"Hurry Toad" said Peach.

"I'm going the speed limit" said Toad.

The limo swerved as Toad turned on the coastal road heading to Toadsdale Harbour.

"Why in such a rush" asked Mario?

"We need to get to the harbour for the boat tours I rented one for 8:30" said Peach looking at her watch.

"It's 7:38" said Toad.

"I'm sure we'll get there in time" said Daisy.

Daisy spoke to soon up ahead was a bumpy piece of road which was under repair and the worker toads were working on the road when Toad slowed down.

"Toad come on" said Peach.

Toad then pressed the gas and the workers screamed and the limo jumped up and down and the worker toads screamed and waved a red flag and Toad couldn't stop the stretch was so bumpy. He kept missing the brake pedal.

A worker ran and on accident kicked a tool box and tools flew out and went inside the limo system. Toad arrived to the end and stopped and the foreman waving red flag came up whistling a loud whistle.

"Mr. Toad  please drive more carefully our highness can not be bumped" said the foreman.

"What but she told me to ohhh" said Toad mad.

Soon they were driving down the road and some bolts and other trash had gotten inside the system and suddenly a bolt got jammed. Toad was rushing quickly and suddenly the limo shook and everyone gasped.

"Not again" said Yoshi.

The limo was shaking and suddenly the motor cut off and the group gasped. Toad pushed the brake and the limo shook to a stop and everyone was quiet.

"What happened" asked Toadette?

"I dunno" said Birdo.

"I don't either" said Toad.

Everyone got off and Peach looked at her phone it was 8:00.

"Oh dear oh no" said Peach.

Soon the group had gotten to Toadsdale Harbour and were at the dock after a bunch of complications. It was 8:29 and the group began to board the boat and soon the boat left at 8:58.

"You see if you would've waited for the back up Limo it wouldn't have mattered if we were late" said Mario to Peach in a teasing voice.

"Oh shush Mario" said Peach.

Soon the boat was out and about and Peach was trying to relax. Soon it was about 4pm and the boat was heading back to the harbour and Peach was sitting a lifeboat. A storm was approaching and the waves were getting rough and Toadette was smiling.

"Yay I'm so happy" said Toadette.

Suddenly a wave made the lifeboat jump and it fell out into the ocean and Peach screamed.

"CAPTAIN" screamed Mario.

Peach screamed as the sky got dark and a wave forced her another way. Mario and Luigi went into alarm and ran quickly panicking.

"MARIO" screamed Peach.

Soon the boat arrived at the Harbour and Mario and Luigi had passed out.

"Obviously it had to be the hero to pass out" said Toadette.

"Oh shush" said Birdo.

Meanwhile Peach was arriving to shore and her boat hit a sandy beach and Peach screamed.

"NOOO WHERE AM I" she screamed.

Soon it began to rain and Peach took out her phone.

"Location please" screamed Peach!

"Location is Toadtown Local Beach" said her phone.

"Wait what" said Peach.

She walked up some stairs and saw the Toadtown terraced houses and the clock tower and her castle Peach was embarrassed indeed. Meanwhile at the Harbour a heavy storm was hitting the town and the winds were hard and rough.

Toad was driving through the storm soon arrived home and Peach was inside Toad's House.

"Toad why is this such a small house is this even average" asked Peach?

"We found you" said Daisy.

"About time" grumbled Toadette.

"We looked everywhere were did you end up" asked Birdo?

"Um the local beach" said Peach "Where's Mario and Luigi"

"They kinda passed out" said Yoshi.

Peach raised an eyebrow and Toadette shrugged and Peach laughed.
