Wii U Addiction

It was a snowy morning in Toadtown and the snow was falling lightly over the town. The chimneys let off smoke from their fire places. The streets were quiet with snow blanketing parked cars and the street.At Toadz Electronics, the last Wii U had been sold out and the window was empty. But who had bought it who would by this contraption.Meanwhile at Toad's toasty home, there was Toad and two of his pals hanging out by playing Toad's new game system.

"Pass me a controller," Mario asked.

"Here!" Toad smiled, as he handed Mario a Wii controller.

Mario began to play with Toad Mario Kart 7 excited. Toad had bought a Wii U so he could play Mario Kart 7. The Wii U had cost 305 coins, quite expensive, right? Off track... Luigi and Mario were playing when Luigi asked...

"Where did you get the money?" Luigi asked with a puzzled expression, his eyebrow raised. 

"Well..." Toad struggled for an excuse, not knowing what to say to the green plumber. 

Meanwhile, at the ATM at the Shopping Village, Toadette was with Birdo and checked her bank account when all of a sudden.. 

"WHAT, 0 DOLLARS?!?" screamed Toadette, surprised. 

"You took money out of Toadette's bank account...." Mario gasped. "Ehh, 299 dollars isn't alot..." said a careless Toad, his attention kept on the TV as his small fingers pushed over the Wii U gamepad. 

Luigi and Mario's mouths dropped as Toad kept playing, and soon, it was night and the plumbers were tired

."Well, we're going home Toad.." Luigi informed.

 And so, Mario and Luigi said goodbye to Toad and went home. Time passed and the clock ticked. And soon, the clock ticked 12am and Toad was still playing with his Wii U.

"Yes, 150cc unlocked!" Toad cheered happily, not caring about sleep or anything. It was like he was addicted to his Wii U... wait, he was! He kept playing and it kept snowing. That morning, Mario and Yoshi arrived at Toad's front door and it was snowing hard. Mario and Yoshi knocked on the door and Toad was in his living room sleeping when suddenly..."Ahh, who's that?!?" screamed Toad, waking up from the noise.

"Me and Mario..." Yoshi replied, shivering a bit from the harsh cold. Toad ran to the door, and once he opened it, he fell face-first onto the snow and screamed. Toad got up cold and wiped the snow away from his arms.

"Toad, you look like you haven't had any sleep..." Mario crossed his arms, he was a bit cold from [i dunno]

"Oh, I have a cold..." Toad lied, scratching his head nervously.

"If you had a cold, how come the living room is full of chips and trash?? And the TV is on??" Yoshi said suspiciously, his arms crossed.

"Oh, um, well, you know I will... I got to get to bed, so bye." said Toad, then he slammed the door on Mario and Yoshi. Mario checked off Toad's name from the list Sandbags For Handbags. In town, Toadette was at the café and looked out the front window to the ocean when suddenly there was a smash. Toadette looked at the door and saw Daisy had hit the door.

"Daisy are you all right??" asked Toadette.

"Yes, I came to lend you some money... I heard Toad got money from your account..." Daisy replied, taking out some money for Toadette. At Toad's house, Toad was pretending to be in bed. Mario and Yoshi had left but Toad decided to be safe and stay in bed. Two minutes passed and Toad was bored. He wanted to do something like play on his Wii U.

Toad than snuck downstairs and turned on the television and began to play. Then, he decided to switch to Mario Party 10 and got up to change the disc... unfortunately though, Toad threw his blanket on the space heater!After Toad changed the disc, he hopped on his soft, comfy chair and leaned back on the fluff. He also picked up a much bigger blanket. The other blanket stayed on the space heater!While Toad kept his attention on the TV, cheering for himself on the game, the space heater got warmer and warmer... but then, a small spark began to light up the blanket! Unfortunately, he didn't notice the spark and it seemed a fire was about to begin...Just as Toad was at the last of the game, a fire finally lighted... Toad gasped and got a bucket of water and the fire ended and he was relived instead of doing anything Toad just started playing again and forgot Toad oh Toad.
